Ames WalkerReviews of ameswalker.com

This was my first experience purchasing compression stockings. I was unsure of just what I should purchase but after looking over several different companies I chose Ames Walker because of their products, competitive pricing, free shipping, and reputation. I was not disappointed. I chose two different styles in the compression I needed. When they arrived in a few short days I realized that I only wanted to keep one style (the thigh high style). I returned the pantyhose and received notification of a credit to my payment method promptly. I'm very satisfied with my experience with Ames Walker and will buy from them again and would recommend them to friends and family when appropriate.

I was very pleased with selection, quality and price. Service was prompt and received exactly what was ordered.

I'm entirely satisfied with the compression provided by the socks. The opportunities for improvement are two-fold. Since I wear a size 13 shoe, after discussion with a salesperson, I ordered extra-large socks. They proved to be far too large, so I returned them -- which was very easy. I subsequently reordered the socks in Large, the top shoe size cited as a 12. They are still almost an inch too long, almost reaching my knee. However, the socks fit adequately. I have ordered similar socks which proved to be the proper length. In any case, this is something to consider when ordering this product.

I love my Ames Walker thigh highs and recommend them to all my flying partners.

I am finding that the Signature knee highs do not stay up and also are not long enough. They do not come up to the knee. Not real happy with them.

I received a much darker color compression stocking than many I had previously received. I provided photographs and they insisted no change was ever made. They claimed that someone must have packed the wrong color but also said they never had that dark color, so how could it be packed wrong? Excuse #2. My old stockings faded. Total BS. Interesting that the top half could fade but what about the foot section, under a shoe and sock. I had an opened package that matched perfectly the one I wear daily. I returned my purchase a bought from another company. Perfect match.

I was very satisfied with the product. The lady on the phone was very helpful and nice. Walter Lawrence

I found the Ames Walker website after having had a horrible experience with another company that I had been purchasing from for some time. I became so disgusted with the previous company's attitude that I swore never to buy from them again. What a lucky break...because Ames Walker is by far superior in every way. I could not be happier. Have purchased for both myself and husband and so far it has been smooth sailing. This company treats their customers with respect. They have a huge selection of fine products. So out of a bad experience with "no name" stocking provider came a wonderful experience with Ames Walker. We will remain loyal customers.
