I paid $1,994 for one of BaseCamp's products Matrix Income Alerts (MIA) service. I cancelled the subscription the day after purchase upon realizing the service was not suitable for my needs. I requested a full refund to my original payment method rather than store credit. The prominent "Satisfaction Guarantee" button on their signup page led me to believe a money-back guarantee was in place. I find it misleading to offer a guarantee that only results in store credit, particularly when this limitation is not clearly disclosed upfront. Because I purchased this service under the impression that it included a 30-day money-back guarantee and the service holds no value for me, store credit is not an acceptable resolution. I requested that they process a refund of my original form of payment...and no longer engagie in deceptive advertisment.
