My lesson with Jose was easygoing, comfortable and very informative.

I used Baselang a few years ago and have recently come back to it and I couldn't be happier. I was already very happy with my experience using Baselang, but the changes to the website make the user experience even better. I was quickly able to find a great teacher for me who understood my specific needs and tailors my lessons to help me to accomplish my goals in Spanish. With so many teachers from so many countries, I think that everyone should be able to find the right teacher for them. The lessons and curriculum are high quality and I especially like that students have access to the content so that they can prepare for upcoming classes. I highly recommend Baselang if you're serious and committed to learning or improving your Spanish.

Like many others I have spent many years learning Spanish on and off, but there really is no better way that getting lots of practice with native speakers. Baselang has allowed me to do just that. I spent ages researching different options, and am so glad I chose Baselang. I felt sure there had to be a catch, but the teachers are great and the Real World curriculum takes you through all the key concepts. However, the absolute best thing for me is the flexibility, it makes it so easy to fit around work and other commitments, and if I find I have a spare half hour, I can book a class any time. Likewise, you can choose what you want to do in each class. You really don't have to be studying that much for the monthly fee to be worthwhile if you work out the cost per hour (especially as there is no penalty if you have to reschedule a class). I'd recommend to anyone serious about learning Spanish, but particularly intermediates who are struggling to break through to conversational fluency.

I'm 7 days into my BaseLang subscription and really wish that I had found it sooner! The real world program is well designed and easy to follow. All of my teachers have been great, adding so much to each lesson. I've gained a lot of confidence speaking already and scheduling the lessons in advance keeps me motived. So far I'm very happy with this program.

This program is not for children, even fluent children. They have tested my daughter in both adult and children's Spanish and she's intermediate after 4 full years of Spanish. They expect someone to sit with a 10 year old the entire time, which is not reasonable or necessary. They have no support staff nor can they answer questions. I do not recommend this program for children at all.

Questions to the support staff are always responded to quickly. The instructional material is comprehensive and is presented in a way that it creates a foundation about the language and each section builds upon that foundation in a logical way. Each lesson offers various learning methods. My instructor is truly gifted. She coaches, corrects pronunciation, and explains when I misinterpret something in a positive way and encourages me to ask questions. She takes the time to copy subjects that we have discussed into my private chat section for review. Add the fact that you can take as many classes per month as you want makes me wonder what more one could ask for from one on one lessons.
