I have bought nothing but Box Component BMX parts. All of my friends have tried to convince me to buy other parts, but I have been nothing but happy with the product! Now I have added apparel to my collect so I can represent my choice in BMX parts while I ride!

Just installed box 1 shifter derailleur & chain Box 2 w/46 cassette. Blows away my Sram NX/SX 12 speed set up with that ridiculous 50 cassette on my Giant f/s bike. Shifts better up and especially down. The shifting is on par or better that my XT set up on my Trek hardtail at half the price. Great product and price. Not enough hard miles to judge durability but it certainly is well built and assembled. I think it will last. Buy it!!

The service of Box was just fine, but I can't (yet) say the same for the Box Two Prime group. I knew I was taking a chance here, but after seeing the few videos there were, and reading the reviews and every comment, the group looked like everything I wanted and needed for my fat bike. The shifter could use better egonomics perhaps but one can get around that. Might be hard to get your thumb in there to drop a gear with a big mitt on. But the info says you can go up three gears at once. You can, you get three clicks. But with a good push the lever will easily pull enough cable for four gears with no forth click. The chain can go way up and slap back down, or what easily happens in the stand, no matter how far you screw that B adjustment bolt in, the guide pulley or the cage just slams into a bigger cog and the chains stacks up and locks up. Probably not an issue with the e-bike single shifter. I am also having an issue with the Box Two cassette. My chain line only has a difference of 3 mm at most. One gear at a time, and the system shifts fine. But on the second highest gear there is so much friction, not matter what you adjust. It sounds like the cable needs to be adjusted, but there is nothing that solves it. The chain just seems too wide to sit there. A nice thing about the cassette (and my chain line) is that you can back pedal all you want and the chain won't jump outboard. I think the group will work fine if I baby the shifts one at a time, but i was wanting so much more from this entry. And now I feel bad....
