Overall, the install and equipment are good, except both remotes do not operate consistently. I'll have to get back to the installer to remedy this problem.

I recently had a stairlift installed, I am 95 years old and on November 30th last year I fell and fractured my ankle. Until then I have been as any 50 year old would get around. I have a two story house and live alone. I am a very independent person and do everything on my own, except house cleaning, I have that done because my house is a lot to do. I had the stairlift which I was not happy to admit I really needed, installed and it was the best thing I could have done. I did not want to move to a one floor hotel, I did not want assisted living or anyone living with me, so it was my choice. I made the right one, I really enjoy my stairlift but I have one fault with it, it is entirely too slow. I still have a lot of youth in me and when I am going up or down I want to get there now, however the lift is a little slow but I understand its necessary. Most people are more incapacitated than I am and slowness is needed, other than that I say it is the best decision I could have made at this time in my life.
