Everything was great up to 11 month of usage. Then it stopped. Had to get a service call to fix it. Trouble was a broken wire. Service call was $400. Warranty covered parts only. Expensive for a broken wire.

Our stairlift runs nicely and safely. It slows down as it gets to the bottom or top of the tract. We wish it ran a bit faster, but its speed is not adjustable.

It takes months to get our Bruno stairlift repaired. We have owned two Bruno stairlifts and both had problems within their first year of use. The real problem is having to wait for a minimum of three weeks for repairs and paying for the service technicians drive time to my house. $700 just to drive to my house plus there is always at least one $1000 part they say needs replacing. After all repairs we have ever had the chair still never works right and we call to get back on the waiting list for service. It's terrible.

So far we have found our stairlift very useful and helpful in getting up and down the stairs to our basement. We just purchased a new washer and dryer so that we can leave our laundry in the basement. We like the idea that Bruno stairlifts are made locally and serviced locally.
