Care.comReviews of care.com

Cathy is great. Perfect person for me. Very hands on. I would recommend her to any other person interested in her service

Needed a sitter for my two kids on short notice and Care.com made it easy to search by zip code and read what other parents said. Hired someone a few blocks over and she was great with them.

After moving back from Georgia to my home town Chicago, I found this app,and it has blessed me 2 wonderful family.Thank you Care.com

Care.com continues to access my credit card even after being informed that I ended my subscription. On September 4 2026 we subscribed to Care.com for support for our mother with dementia. We subscribed on a monthly plan. However, we were able to secure help independently. So, within two weeks I contacted Care.com to cancel our subscription, where we informed them that their services were no longer needed. Unfortunately, they ignored our request and they continued to debit my credit card on October 4. Additionally, although I informed them via an email, their site is very difficult to navigate to cancel subscriptions.

The service was terrible and I canceled, but I was still charged

truly love Care.com! Through this platform, I have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing families, and I am so grateful for the connections I have made. Caring for others is more than just a job to me; it is something I am passionate about, and being able to share that love with the families I meet makes it all worthwhile. I also appreciate how easy Care.com makes it to apply for jobs and how it helps me feel more comfortable when meeting new families. Knowing that the platform takes concerns seriously gives me additional peace of mind. If you are looking for someone who will care for your loved one with compassion, patience, and love, I encourage you to give Care.com a try. My experience has been very rewarding, and I am thankful for the wonderful families I have met along the way. ❤️

This app is amazing. I’ve found a lot of jobs, a lot of amazing people. I love this app

I meant to buy a one-month membership and accidentally selected the annual plan. I caught it immediately — Care.com's own system emailed me 'Your subscription has been cancelled' seven minutes after the $139.13 charge on Dec 13, 2025. I asked to simply be switched to the month I intended. Care.com refused any correction, any plan switch, and any refund. When I disputed the charge with American Express, Care.com told Amex 'no cancellation was made' — the opposite of their own confirmation email — and Amex denied my dispute on that basis. Months later, their agent admitted in writing that I did cancel minutes after the charge and apologized for the confusion. They still refuse the refund. I've filed a consumer complaint with the Wisconsin DATCP. One star is generous.
