Want a refund for unused products?
You may recoup only HALF of what you paid. I thought it would be great to know something of my ancestry, so thought this would be a cheap way to get started. $48 + tax on sale. When my wife and I received our kits, inside was a carelessly folded piece of green, letter-sized paper entitled, "DNA Processing Consent Form," seemingly thrown in as an afterthought. After reading it, we decided that we didn't agree with some aspects of it, so wrote to ask for a refund and how/where they would like us to return the unused kits. Other than an acknowledgement of receipt, we still haven't gotten a reply from them, and that's been over a month. All they did was send a partial refund, the price of only one kit, but no explanation as to why they didn't refund the other, and no return instructions. Worse, they tell you to NOT reply to their support email, so I have no idea how to follow up with this. It seems that the only "support" they're giving is to themselves, being effectively subsidized by their thievery. And, had we not bought during a sale, we might be out $100.
