Took longer than expected and I got an email about how to mix the bourbon after I ordered it. But overall it was a seamless process and the product look is perfection. Very high quality

For this being my first time ordering, everything was great. I got timely emails as the process went along. I will definitely be doing this again just with my husbands input next time.

I bought this as a gift for my brother. He enjoyed the blend, bottle, label and box. I ordered it on April 1st his birthday being April 10th. It got there about a week after his birthday as the production began about a week after order. Since then I have received numerous solicitation/spam emails to the point where I unsubscribed and and marked them as spam so I no longer got inundated by there mailers.

This was a true experience! Bought this as a gift for my dad and we were able to make our own whiskey to celebrate his 50th birthday! The only criticism would be that the experience needs more of each sample so more trials can be made.

Now that I received the product, I'm happy to edit my review. The packaging is amazing and the whiskey is fantastic! The recipient was blown away by his Christmas gift and I'm guessing he'll be ordering more. I stand by my position that Designer Dram should not provide tracking information if the customer cannot access delivery status. They should wait until the package clears the tiered shipping/clearance system and THEN provide tracking info. Otherwise, they are confusing the customer and setting false expectations. Which is exactly what happened in this scenario. That misstep is the reason for four stars versus five. [Original post 12/17] I haven't even received the whiskey yet and I'm giving Designer Dram one star because of their complete lack of responsibility in the shipping process. The site says that while turnaround times could be 2-4 weeks, when I ordered on December 1st, they estimated 2 weeks. I received tracking information on 12/14 but the info is useless! As of 12/19, the package has not arrived at their shipping partner's warehouse. They're telling me it left their facility on 12/9, but no one knows exactly where it is and when I will receive it. Using words like “should be,” “at some stage” and "we estimate" does not make a customer feel good when they're trying to get arrival status for a Christmas gift! Take some responsibility and provide accurate and reliable shipping information! Own the customer experience from end-to-end!!!

Very nice experience. My suggestion is for you to compare the blend option tastes to other popular brands for those that are not so knowledgeable. I love being able to customize the name and description. Thank you.
