When I graduated from the Medical Billing & Coding certificate program, we were supposed to be able to do billing too. I think we touched on the CMS-1500 and the UB-04 (I believe it is) - for a couple days. That's not enough to be a biller. Mostly what we covered was the ICD-10-CM, CPT & some HCPCS coding manuals, and even that, I felt like they only showed us the bare bones and that we were supposed to figure out the rest by ourselves.

Studying at DeVry University Online has been a rewarding and practical experience. The flexibility of the online format allowed me to balance my professional responsibilities with academic growth, while still progressing toward my degree in Computer Information Systems (Database Management) and Information Technology & Networking. - The coursework provided a strong foundation in database design, networking, and systems analysis, which directly supports my career in programming and IT. -The hands-on labs and projects gave me real-world exposure to tools and environments that mirror professional practice. - The collaborative online community helped me connect with peers and instructors, making the virtual experience engaging and interactive. - Most importantly, the program aligned with my career goals, giving me both the technical skills and confidence to apply what I learned immediately in my work. I love the tutor services. I love the Professors they are very helpful. I recommend this school to anyway. That's part of the reason why I went back to master's program. I'm so excited about this new experience.

DeVry University in general is an all around Amazing place. Students, staff, advisors, everyone treats you as if your family immediately. They believe in you and encourage you to do better, be your best self. Continue your education. They are understanding about life and all it comes with. They are patient and work with you when you need extra time on assignments. I've been with DeVry since 2024 and I Love everything about it.
