I paid DNA Complete (dnacomplete.com) nearly $600 for DNA testing. Five months later I still have zero results. Every time I follow up they simply say “we’re still testing” and keep stringing me along. Many other customers online report the exact same experience—payment taken, endless delays, no results. This company took my money and delivered nothing. I believe it is a scam. Avoid DNA Complete. I have filed complaints with the BBB, NY Attorney General, and have disputed the charge with my credit card company. Avoid this company at all costs. Ask your doctor instead.

This company is basically running a scam. A very quick internet search of DNA Complete and scam will reveal this for you. Check the reviews here as well. I have paid the full amount and there are not providing any results. Fortunately American Express are refunding me for this scam as the company itself will not.

It's been 9 months. Still no test results. Still no response other than - "We're working on it". I wanted DNA results, not a fully developed clone! Don't waste your money.

It has been six months since I sent my information in and registered the kit. I still do not have any results and get the response, "we are still processing your results" message. I asked for a refund and they said, no - and sent me their refund policy that states there are no refunds. They are unable to tell me how much longer this process will take.

I paid DNA Complete $995 on September 5, 2025 for genetic sequencing, ancestry, traits, reporting, and raw-data services. As of July 27, 2026, my account still only says, “Your results are being processed.” The ancestry results, traits reports, and raw genetic data I paid for have not been delivered. I contacted support multiple times and requested either completion of the service or a full refund. I did not receive the completed service or the refund. Because the issue remained unresolved, I filed reports with the FTC and SEC, and a CFPB complaint related to the handling of the HSA debit-card dispute. This review reflects my personal experience and the status of my order as of July 27, 2026. I will update it if DNA Complete delivers the complete results or issues the $995 refund.

I paid $995 for whole genome sequencing in December 2025 and submitted my DNA sample in January 2026. More than six months later, I still have not received any sequencing results. Every time I contacted support, I received generic responses stating that my sample was "still processing" without providing any meaningful timeline. When I requested a refund because the service had not been delivered, the company refused. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend DNA Complete.

Month 10 of waiting on results and they will not give a refund

I am extremely disappointed with DNA Complete. I paid $519.95 for my DNA Complete package and annual subscription. My sample was received by the laboratory on March 20, 2026. Months have passed, and my account still shows "Your results are being processed". I have received no DNA results, no RAW DNA data, and no estimated completion date. Every time I contact customer support, I receive the same copy-and-paste response. They repeatedly state that they cannot provide any timeline or any meaningful update about my sample. The most frustrating part is that my paid annual subscription has been running since the purchase, even though I still cannot access the service I paid for because my results have not been released. This is unacceptable customer service. Customers deserve transparency, meaningful communication, and realistic expectations. If this issue is not resolved, I will continue sharing my experience on consumer review platforms and with consumer protection organizations. I hope DNA Complete finally takes responsibility and provides the service I paid for.
