They advertised one price then charged me different. Not a huge deal, buy sketchy. Be prepared for constant ads, and attempts at selling you "upgrades", other features, pet insurance, ads , etc etc it never ends.

The virtual visit with the vet was on time, she was friendly and knowledgeable and provided a prescription for my pup. However, I can never recommend this service. I paid extra money to receive the medication prescribed by July 10. It is now July 14 and I still have not received the medication and it shows to be in transit with the USPS. Totally unreliable and a waste of money.

We completely understand the frustration of paying for faster shipping and then having your pup wait longer than expected for medication. Looking into your order, it shipped right away but was delayed once it reached USPS. The good news is we're now seeing movement, so it should arrive soon. To make this right, we've refunded the priority shipping charge and added store credit for rush shipping on your next order. We appreciate your patience through this delay, and we hope your pup is feeling better very soon.

I'll start by saying I like the concept of Dutch. The issue that I have is 1. Some of the vets DO NOT care about your pets, they do not ask many questions and the call literally lasts 2 minutes. 2. When you need to contact customer support it seems almost impossible. They give you a number to call but you can't reach anyone and then if you email them it can take days for them to respond. 3. If you have multiple pets you have to set up a visit for each one instead of one visit for all of them which can take a long time and isn't ideal especially if you need meds ASAP. I recently signed up for Dutch as I have 3 dogs that need flea meds. The first 2 I had no problems with the prescriptions however with my 3 month old puppy I did. I had a consultation with the Doctor and told him that my dog is only 11 or 12 wks old. I just received the meds and the prescription says for dogs 6 months or older. This is extremely inconvenient as I already had to wait several days for the prescription and then received the wrong one. Now I will have to wait even longer to receive the correct one.

The mix-up with your puppy's prescription in particular sounds frustrating, waiting several days only to receive medication meant for an older dog means even more time before he's properly protected, and that's not the experience we want for you or him. We've reached out here to get a bit more information so we can look into what happened. On scheduling, appointments are set up per pet since each visit is about 10 minutes, enough time to properly go over that pet's individual needs, though we understand that can feel like a lot when you're managing care for multiple animals at once. We appreciate you laying all of this out, it helps us see where things can improve.

Just don't do it. You may think you will save money or get vet service when your local vet isn't an option. They will try to force you into buying Rx thru them with a subscription plan when it is a one-time order. Then god help you and your pet if you request the transfer of the Rx elsewhere. The whole process that was supposed to save time and money, ultimately did neither.

We want to clarify the options available for medications: you can order through Dutch with standard shipping (4-7 days), priority shipping (2-3 days), or rush shipping (1-2 days), and we offer price matching on top of that. You can also transfer a prescription to another online or local pharmacy, most transfers complete within a day, though it can take up to three depending on the pharmacy's queue. Dutch is a subscription service that includes unlimited vet advice for up to 5 pets for one annual fee, and in states where it's allowed, prescription access is part of that as well.
