Dr Kordis was very helpful and knowledgeable about my pets issue and had clearly planned ahead for our call based on the information i had provided. She built a very succinct and informative treatment plan for my pets issue.

Dr Marta was nice and easy to understand. She gave clear instructions and was personable and caring. It was so nice to not have to load our sweet golden retriever farm dog into the vehicle and go to a vet’s office (which would be a stressful situation for her!) to get her issue looked at. Overall very pleased!

I've had dutch pet for a while now and I am so thankful now that I am a working mom and have a son with autism this app and site has been such a weight lifted off my chest for vet visits. Now I dont have to worry about my 2 small kids and dog with anxiety and a need to protect us in the waiting rooms with all types of other animals.

Not what it seems. They do not give you access to your prescriptions after your vet calls, they make you pay to transfer to a vet near you (takes 3 days and they charge $5) or you have to pay rush shipping to get it from them and they still charge you a “processing fee” on top of it all. Appts aren’t that easy to get (on weekends may have to wait until next day) and the vet goes super fast (likely get paid for a certain number of minutes or are seeing you between their regular patients.

If a pet requires immediate care, we always recommend visiting an in-person veterinary clinic or emergency hospital. Appointment availability, especially on weekends, can vary based on demand. Regarding prescriptions: after a consultation, medications can be fulfilled in a few ways. We offer free standard shipping, optional rush shipping, or prescription transfers to a local pharmacy or veterinary clinic. Most transfers are processed the same day, though we provide a timeframe in case queues fluctuate. A small processing fee may apply depending on the option selected. Our veterinarians aim to be efficient while still providing quality care and guidance, and we’re sorry if the pace of your visit felt rushed. We appreciate this feedback and will continue working to improve communication and the overall experience for our members.

I'd been to in-person vets repeatedly with no solution. With Dutch, I had access to a vet who could stay with me, look at the cat (video) on different days, try different treatments, and really HEAR what I was trying to say. The cost of a year with Dutch was less than 1 visit to my "live" vet. This experience with Dr. Almomany has made me a believer in virtual vets!
