Two days trying to get hold of a human. First day on hold for one hour spoke to a rep who had all my call back numbers, I got cut off and he never called back. Second day on hold 2.5 hrs, no answer. I left a call back number and they called the next day. I got cut off again, never called back. The product is great but if you have any warranty problems your in trouble.

Hold time is awful
Hold time is awful. I was even hung up on after one extended hold period.
I understand that the pandemic is affecting the hiring of employees. I can only hope that EGO is working to address this shortcoming on their part.

Have been on hold over an hour due to 56v battery failure. No way to leave message or get call back as service message suggests. Does nothing when numbers are pressed on phone as prompted and still my battery is dead. Horrible service.

The Best Tools Available...PERIOD...Even After Nearly 3 Years of Use
Wow...such an amazing product and terrific Customer Service. I have six of their tools (Hedge Trimmer, Blower, Edger, Weed Eater, Chain Saw, and Lawn Mower) and the tools perform like nothing else I have used...they are simply the BEST. I have three 56V, 5 Amp batteries and they power all of the above with no issue. I've had these tools for about 3 years and had but one issue (rear wheel bearings on lawn mower failed). In this case, I contact Customer Service who immediately shipped out two rear wheels with new bearings at zero cost (they were brilliant...received the items in just a few days) and replaced wheel and was up and going immediately. I am able to mow a little over a half-acre on a single charge (uses two batteries in mower) and generally obtain between 75 and 120 minutes of performance per battery. I find the weed eater seems to have the least battery life.
I love these tools and appreciate their durability, performance (over a long-term period), and Customer Service. I don't think a better battery operated power tool is available, no matter the price.
If you want a great product and are willing to follow the recommendations for maintaining the battery, and provide basis maintenance then the EGO Tool is for You. I wish you all the best. Thank You EGO!!

A once former very dedicated…
As a once former very dedicated customer, I have to say that Ego is not the same company that I knew several years back. The customer service is lacking, to say the least. One particular customer service agent, who goes by the name of "Faith", was gurgling water when she answered the phone, left me on hold for 10 to 15 minutes without even suggesting that she's going to put me on hold.
It's all about my Powerhead 1400 failing after a mere 10 months of use, which by the way, has a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. And because I purchased it from a third party seller on Amazon, they refuse to honor the warranty. The third party seller, at the time of purchase, had on their listing that they ARE an authorized reseller. Ego is suggesting that you need to do more research. Really? Who does that? Every time you purchase something online, you have to cross reference to make sure that they're an authorized seller, especially when they list the company as being an authorized seller? I have over $1,400 worth of Ego attachments, mowers, batteries. I can't use the attachments because I have a defective powerhead. What a waste, I'm going to go back to Ryobi. For those of you that don't want to lug around a heavy powerhead, including other relatively bulky attachments such as an edger, I would advise against this product.
By the way, Ryobi's customer service is hands down 10 times better than Egos.

Very very poor customer service
Very very poor customer service. The 7.5 AH battery for the mower only lasted 10 months. Trying to get them to honor the warranty is impossible.

Customer service does not answer phone… battery overheats … worst investment EVER!
Customer service does not answer phone calls, return messages, or answer emails. This is the biggest waste of $600 I have made in my 71 years on earth, bought the lawnmower 3 months ago; the battery (fully charged) will run for MAYBE 10 minutes before it over heats and the mower stops. I can’t figure out what’s wrong, because the terrible customer service is not contactable. This company sucks! Good luck if you give them any money.

Get 2 X 4amps for mower instead of 7.5
EGO may not be perfect but my mower has worked fine for 3 1/2 years-then battery died. Ego authorised local dealer to replace on the spot even though a month or three out of warranty.
I think that EGO should sell the big mowers with 2 X 4amp batteries rather than one 7.5. Self propelled on a big lawn will drain a 7.5 in 45 minutes, then near an hour to recharge. Two 4 amps in rotation much better, and lighter too if your lawn slopes.
I have just bought an 18” Chainsaw as well, incredibly effective for a cordless chainsaw, but don’t believe the 2.5amp battery produces over 100 cuts, not unless you are cutting cocktail sticks ! Traded the 2.5 back in for a 4 amp, which is also handy in my mower for steep lawn slopes.
