Surface rust on the outside of the seal. I polished the OD which only took off 5 thousandths, hopefully that didn't hurt it. I installed it and it doesn't leak, but I don't have the tractor running yet to test under load.

The person that took the order was very knowledgeable and attentive finding the correct product for me.I would have given five stars but engine cover came damaged.It wasn't noticeable until I had it installed.I removed the front pulled start cover and hammered it out .I needed the machine up and running and couldn't wait for replacement parts.I recommend you enhance packaging for shipment.Tha ks
