we cancelled with this company back in 2017 and to find out 9 years later they are still charging our ach account almost $400 per month which comes out to $45000 i am contacting a lawyer and going after these guys i called them yesterday and they said we dont have anything on file you cancelled i said this was b.s and june said he would cancel right now over the phone without any paperwork which i find is really weird do not go with these guys you will get scammed

After nearly 12 years as a customer, my processing rates went from roughly 3–3.5% to over 10%, with some cards exceeding 11%. Their justification was that rate-change notices appeared on monthly statements in a portal I could not access. Once I discovered what was happening and complained, they were suddenly able to reduce my rate to 3.76%. In my experience, this is completely unacceptable treatment of a long-term customer. I would never knowingly have agreed to processing rates anywhere near 10–11%. My recommendation to other business owners: stay away. Do not trust that your original pricing will remain competitive—check every statement and every fee. I would not choose EVO Payments again, and I cannot recommend them to any business If other EVO merchants have experienced similar unexplained or excessive rate increases, I would like to hear from you. I would also be interested in joining or participating in any existing class action or other legal action concerning similar practices.

Crooks...Scammers. Not only do they charge you even when you are not using it, they increase the amount each month. I was in the hospital and deathly ill and on a lot of meds and didn't realize they were not only charging me, but increasing my charges each month. For example, they charged me $275 in February when I was home recovering and not even at work! They stole over 900 dollars!!! And then when I tried to cancel, they delayed it, FAX number didn't work, etc. so they could milk me for one more month. Finally, I had to close they account. Horrible way to treat a long time customer and I will never forget how rotten this company is.

It's too bad I had to put one star. These people are definitely con artists in my opinion. when you call the acoustics sound like you're talking to somebody in a shack in China(heavy accent) dogs barking, kids crying and it's every single time...They took money out of my account the reasoning was for "infrastructure" I had 15 clients on recurring payments of 89.99 these fees are minimal monthly fees. In November they charged me $700. on top of the fees. And in December they charged me another 900 dollars for 'lawyer fee's' fees?? These people are insane my bank caught it and stopped the fees the second time but I lost $689 the first time.. This is a fraudulent company that was trying to build up their equity/ net worth so they could sell to global or whoever bought them and use an our accounts to do it, in my opinion i can think of no other reason... I called everyone and reported them. If this happens to you call your state police or your local police and show them what they did, call the FBI the FCC and report them...everyone of their reviews is bad that says it all !

Beware! Crooks and scam artist! They will charge you for even not running transactions. They wana do rate reviews every 6 months if not they automatically adjust your rate to whatever they want to charge. 10% ? Rediculous!!!

Worst card processing company ever encountered. They will cheat you in every possible way. Bogus fees, hiked rates, settlement charges, etc.

Avoid this scammers.

Warning record all conversations especially if you're closing your account. They will lie about it and keep on charging you exuberant monthly fees. We canceled in November and when we called in February to find out why we're still being charged monthly fees they deny that we ever canceled. We canceled because the rates were double then what other companies are currently offering. They should have zero customers.
