I live in the UK and I spent 18 months trying to find a way to recover a tax which was with held due to a share option issue. After all the hurdles I had still not received all the monies owing to me and i asked Expat Tax Professionals to help. My updated Tax return was received by the United States Treasury in mid November and i can now confirm today i received a cheque for the final balance. I found this company online and liked the sound of the individuals involved and the teamwork and backup provided.I was almost totally unaware of how involved the task would be. I always received prompt responses to my confusion (at times) and requirements and difficulties having been in a foreign tax system for decades. I found the language difference in American and Australian terminology at times conflicting but was always met with an understanding and patient response and helpful advice.
