My visit was fine. My complaint is I ordered my glasses on Feb ,1 2021 was told they would be ready by 5pm on Feb 11,2021 . I called the store on the 11th from work and they said oh I’m sorry we had wrong number,and we sent the text to wrong person.When I ordered my glasses I told them I was going out of town and wanted to make sure I had my glasses.So was told I could pick them up on the 12th. Not blaming you for this it snowed the store was closed until 2 pm my flight leaves at 1:30 so no glasses until I get back!

I went into the store on Harbison Blvd, in Columbia, SC not knowing they would be closing in 30 minutes. I still received excellent service. I must have tried on ten pair during this time, but the clerk recommended a pair for me and I loved them. I was in and out of there right in those 30 minutes. The clerk did not seem like she was trying to rush, she was really nice. Was told glasses would be ready in two weeks, but I got the text stating they were ready for pickup on the tenth day. Went in, picked them up, tried them on and would not change a thing. They were perfect! Since I had pre-paid the first night I was there I was in and out this time in less than ten minutes. This place was great and my first time ever walking into one of their stores. So they more than likely now have a customer for life if I continue to receive the service I received this first time around.

They need to have a zero ! RUDE RUDE RUDE - they lost a sale ! I don’t care what prices they have I would rather pay a higher price then to helped by someone that doesn’t know what he is doing ! GOODBYE NEVER AGAIN !

My initial visit was great. I was not expecting to be satisfied with a "cheap" eye exam place. I was, however, completely wrong. The ed cam was quick but thorough. The Dr was extremely knowledgable, took all the time needed to check and explain as nd give advice. I hot two pair of glasses as well as a copy of my prescription to have and was very impressed with the entire process. Later Inlost 1 pair, and broke the other so needed to order another pair with same prescription. I also wanted to change something. The receptionist although courteous, friendly and knowledgeable said she couldn't make the change I needed, I'd have to speak to Dr himself. 1 week and three phone calls later, still unable to see as needed, the Dr had not called back as asked so I'm done here. As a paying customer wanting to spend money at a business during this tough economic time, ignoring a paying customer with a simple and important to me and my work question seems bad business. I don't participate with bad businesses. Everyday exam and glasses, ok to go. Smallest issue, I recommend not here for sure.

I awarded them 2 stars based solely on the thorough exam (administered at their Albany, N.Y. location) The printed prescription was then taken next door to their eyeglass store. After all of their upsells and add-ons, one pair of eyeglasses ended up costing $485!!! I would suggest getting your exam and prescription here, but taking it elsewhere (except America's Best) for your actual glasses.

I haven't had my glasses very long maybe a couple of months and then I lost them couldn't find them anywhere, so I called Eyemartexpress to see if they could make me some more and the lady said sure I'll call you back to take payment over the phone. But when she called back she told me her boss said she was going to to a one time free pair since I haven't had them that long, because they don't cover lost glasses. It was a true blessing and i'm so thankful. I will continue to do my buisness with them.

When you spend a few hundred dollars on 3 pair of glasses, ya kinda expect to be able to see out of them. I knew they weren't right when I picked them up, but the girl told me to "wear them over the weekend to see if you get used to them," but I couldn't take them back because the store closed soon afterward due to COVID. I later took them to my new eye doctor because they have an in-house optical shop & the optician told me the measurements for pupillary distance were wrong & the prescription was wrong. Would NOT recommend.
