I spent $90 on two sets of lashes and a tube of magnetic eyeliner. The one set of lashes I only wore twice before one of the magnets came off and the lashes were falling out of the strip. The liquid eyeliner came very dried out. And like someone else had said, the inner part of the eyelashes do not stay down! Very frustrating, especially when they say “40+ uses!” and you only get a couple uses.

Nice but not worth the money
The lashes are nice, but I can't get the inner corners to stick. I trimmed the lashes to fit my eyes and made sure the thickness of the liner matched the band. The inner corners still wouldn't stay down. The lash anchors also pinch and tug your lashes, which is painful. Overall, they're too expensive for the quality of the lash.

I’ve tried 3 different magnetic Eyelash…
I’ve tried 3 different magnetic Eyelash companies. This is by far the worst, and costs more than the ones on amazon. I tried the new liner in pen form. The pen was empty with no glue product! It was totally dry. They wouldn’t give me a refund either! This is a BAD company.

This company is a scam
This company is a scam. Liner and lashes sold separately, not stated clearly on the website. Customer service does not respond to emails, nor is there a number to call. I am very displeased by this companies lack of RESPECT for it's customer.

I have tried many brands of magnetic…
I have tried many brands of magnetic eyelashes from amazon and they dont compare remotely to glamnetic. I have also been doing glue and regular falsies for a while to and this is the absolute best and quickest eyelash routine ever. I have a round eye shape and i dont have to trim the length of the lashes which i love love love. Other brands were way to long and i had to trim them and once you trim them they dont fit how they should nor do they look right. They lasted all day long (and u sweat a lot at work because im an animal nurse) and of the many magnetic eye liners i have tried theirs is the easiest to remove. The only thing i can say to be aware of is their eye lashes bristles are longer than what you will be expecting even their short eyelashes are long to me because my brow bone is not high arched and what not so with some they go above my brows lol. So stick with the short ones for first time buyers to ease yourself into the fake eyelash look especially if your not use to falsies. Good luck i hope you liked them as much as me!

If you‘ve never worn fake eyelashes
If you‘ve never worn fake eyelashes, and you’ve been looking at all these glamnetic promo videos thinking that these lashes are going to just snap perfectly into place in seconds! understand that this is not what’s going to happen.
The ads are kinda misleading, which is part of why I gave a lower rating. To figure out how apply these lashes correctly without any prior experience is going to take you a good 30-60 minutes. If you have small eyes or eyes that curve at all really you’re going to want to get the anchors. The ends of the magnetic strip won’t bend right with the curve of your eyes with the liner alone.
I have smaller eyes, and they are slightly hooded. Most people will probably have to cut the strip to fit their eyes. The issue with this is that you have to line it up with the edge of one of the magnets, otherwise you’ll have an edge that just doesn’t curve with your eye, no matter how many anchors you attach to it. So if the length you want it is in the space between two of the magnets on the lash strip you’re going to have to cut it longer or shorter than what really fits your eyes.
I don’t like the magnetic liner. The applicator that comes with the majority of the bundles they sell is not the felt tip one, and it gets messy. It’s not a forgiving liner that you can quickly wipe a bit away if you’ve made mistakes (it’s actually quite hard to take off even with oil based makeup remover). And the magnetic liner is almost impossible to keep off your real lashes! So your lashes will magnetize to one another across your eyeball if you’re not careful (or quick with makeup remover) which is a weird feeling and an even weirder look. The liner makes the magnetic strip attached to the lash sticky and I think using it regularly would reduce the integrity of the lash overall. When using the liner, I still needed to use anchors on all of the magnets to get it to have the same curve as my eye. So for me the liner is kind of pointless.
After genuinely struggling, I managed to figure out how to apply all 5 anchors (it would be 6 but in my case I cut the strip to 5 magnets) to the lash strip and wear it without any liner. This is something that glamnetic talks about in their ads - that for easy no liner days this is a quick alternative.
It was not quick or easy. But it does eventually work. You just have to put a bunch of TINY magnets really close to the inside of your eye while managing to keep the big fluffy lash aligned closely with the top of your lash line. Do all of this using one eye and while trying not to blind yourself or lose any of the itty bitty anchors. The first five times I tried to do this the fake lashes ended up halfway down from the base of my real lashes and it looked like I had spider eyes.
Finally and most importantly, these lashes are really fudging expensive. I paid 90$ for a bundle with the liner and two sets of lashes, as well as the anchors. I got a coupon to get out of paying 30£ international shipping fees (to the UK) but had to pay a 22£ VAT. The shipping process was ok. Their FAQ makes it seem like you can use something called the “PASSPORT” system to get shipping updates and pay your VAT ahead of time (so it dosnt get stuck in customs). But when you check out this is not an option, and when you ask about which customs office it’s been sent to (to call and pay the VAT directly) they won’t be able to give you that info. Instead the HMRC will hold onto your package for a week, try to deliver it and make you pay the VAT at a time you’ll have no prior knowledge of, leave a little note that gives you a code to pay the VAT, and then re-deliver your package in 3-5 business days.
In the end I DO love how the Venus lashes without liner look on my eyes. It’s like being a living version of a snap chat filter (around the eyes anyway). You can get away with using them on a bare face and they’re very light and soft. The Vibe lashes on the other hand were too intense for me. But with a full face of makeup or someone going for a more dramatic look the lashes might seem less out of place.
- There are lots of companies selling magnetic lashes for much lower prices
- now that I have the anchors (which I think would work with any magnetic lash?) I’m not going to buy any more glamnetic lashes because it’s really expensive
- I couldn’t find any product similar to the lash anchors sold by another company; they’re tough to master but I ended up really liking them
- I have hygiene concerns because you end up touching all over the lashes and anchors, the anchors go almost in your eye, and you can’t really wash them (no info on how to sanitize)
- If you haven’t worn falsies before this is going to take some practice, and btw you’re going to lose some of your natural lashes
