The company is doing great at explaining what is going on with possible fraud, like someone using your information and applying for credit or was it because I had applied for credit.

I had a question about my coverage with ID Shield concerning a possible breach with a retirement account of mine. I was assured by your agent that I was covered. Your agent recommended I get Fraud Alert on my credit monitoring services which he helped me to set them up. I was not on the phone a long time and had peace of mind that I was covered through ID Shield

I have had this service for years. They do a great job of monitoring all my information and providing alerts if they discover potential problems. I cannot speak of the service they would provide if hackers managed to steal my identity because so far, it has never happened. So, I can only speak to the monitoring aspect of the service.
