Hi Samantha, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry that your move-in did not meet expectations and that this caused frustration.
We want to clarify that after you raised concerns about the condition of the room, our support and landlord teams reviewed the photos, escalated the issues, and began coordinating fixes, including pest treatment follow-up, bathroom repairs, and replacements for items that showed wear or damage. You also chose not to occupy the room and asked for it to be placed back on the market, which we did to help limit your financial responsibility while repairs and re-listing took place.
In shared buildings, routine pest control treatments and traps are part of ongoing prevention, and when concerns are reported, we work with the landlord and vendors to inspect, remove, and address anything that does not meet standards.
We understand how disappointing it is when a home does not match expectations at move-in. Your feedback has been reviewed internally, and the issues you raised were used to trigger inspections and follow-up work at the property.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
