We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns and would like to clarify a few important points for future readers. Business Filing is an independent private filing service that assists business owners with annual reports, renewals, filing preparation, reminder services, and related business support. We are not affiliated with any government agency, and our communications clearly disclose that we are a private filing service and provide information for businesses that prefer to file directly with their state on their own. Based on the entity information included in your review, it appears this may have involved a newly formed business entity. In some cases, recently created business records or public filing data may result in notices being generated prematurely or before a filing is actually required. While our notices are intended to help businesses avoid missed deadlines, we certainly understand how receiving a notice in that situation could cause confusion, and we apologize for any frustration the mailing may have caused. We also want to clarify that our services are entirely optional. Many business owners choose to use professional filing services like ours for convenience, reminders, and ongoing support, while others prefer to file independently through their Secretary of State website. If a filing is determined not to be necessary or cannot be completed in a timely manner, our policy is to cancel and refund the order accordingly. We are not affiliated with any government agency.
