Bobby Carter prescribed me the WRONG medication. In fact, he gave me something that would not help at all but could actually make my condition WORSE. They will not refund the money I spend out of pocket for the prescription because I used my own pharmacy. They are more harmful than helpful. Do not use, do not use, do not use!!!!!

BEWARE OF DECEPTIVE PRICING! On Amazon it say $29 for a visit and $0 during a trial for an Amazon Prime member, which I am. What a shock to find I was charged $154 for a brief visit with an RN!!! You can talk to an MD on many platforms for less than that! Even worse, when I wrote to them to complain, they never responded. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!

A total scam! I was initially impressed with ease of setting up apt, quickness of apt and prescription. Then I got a $500 bill (I have great insurance and this would be a $20 telehealth visit normally) for that 10 min visit. Currently exploring options with insurance to fight this. Incredibly deceptive. RUN!

Convenient, attractive locations and capable mobile app/website, but the medical care and customer service I receive is not proactive and is quite frankly irresponsible and dangerous. My primary care provider did not request new labs for some metrics we’ve been watching in advance of my upcoming physical. I messaged the office, and they asked me what I wanted retested. Is this not the doctor’s job?? And anyway, the results wouldn’t come in time, so I had to reschedule the physical for the next available time that is three weeks out. So unprofessional. And then the doctor canceled the delayed appointment due to being sick, and no one reached out to me to schedule, and when I did reach out, all they offered was an appointment *two months* out or with a provide other than my own. When I’ve tried to switch providers multiple times in the past few years, they tell me there are no other MD’s in the office accepting patients. They can’t make an exception for a patient who is not getting good care from their doctor and has been with One Medical since 2014? They have been absolutely no help in this matter. Things have gone way downhill since the Amazon acquisition. The care feed super commoditized and transactional.

We used Amazon One Medical’s advertised On-Demand / Pay-per-visit service for a simple hypothyroidism (Synthroid) prescription renewal and dose check. The site and flow clearly presented a $49 video visit option. Instead we were billed $304+ for what they later called a “Scheduled Video Visit.” The distinction between the cheap On-Demand rate and the expensive scheduled rate was never clearly explained when booking. After disputing the charge, we only got AI responses that walked back their own previous statements, repeated promises that “someone will call you back,” and no real resolution. Phone support has been equally unhelpful. This feels like a bait-and-switch. The low advertised price gets you in the door, then they bill you like a regular doctor visit. Extremely disappointed and will not use the service again.

My daughter and I have used one medical telemedicine for years without any issues. All of a sudden, without any changes to insurance , the NPs are charging our insurance over $700 for a follow up visit to maintain meds. They refuse to admit this is a high cost as our portion is $450. They will not adjust or admit wrong doing. If you don’t have a membership ( we have now cancelled ours for good!) it says you would pay $49 a visit. When I questioned them they said that was only an estimate. We are absolutely sickened and our college age daughter who sought them for help- now owes over $800. This has led us both to not seek medical attention anymore. Are there any drs that care about the patient or is it all a business now? Truly. I wonder.
