One star is generous
One star is generous. Avoid. They are ok for young, healthy tech workers, but they are totally inept if you need life-saving care. Do not pass go; go elsewhere.

I wish I read these reviews first. I was told this service was complimentary, had a 5-minute virtual consultation, she sent me to the hospital saying I may be at risk of dying if I don't go, then received a $250 bill. I went to the emergency room because I was scared and he took one look at me and said I was totally fine and the diagnosis was wrong. From both a patient care side and a business side, this business has a lot of growth needed. I have messaged back and forth with someone about the charge not going through my insurance even though it's listed and no progress has been made. Avoid at all costs - literally.

It's always a calming feeling to enter One Medical. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean and welcoming. My Phlebotomy Technician, Ms . Daziah is the BEST! She’s gentle, pleasant, with a humorous vibrant spirit. She is definitely the reason why I don’t mine having my blood drawn. I truly hope that One Medical realizes how valuable she is.

I sent my mom after hearing about this product from salesfolks at a conference. She said the doctor asked if her Italian walking shoes were slippers (weird?) And he had no idea for how to treat the 2 issues she brought in, he would look them up and she could come back in a week and get prescriptions (she is 85).

I was charged nearly 500$ (after insurance) for a 10 minute video chat with a doctor. It was listed as "Low Complexity" but still came out to this ridiculous bill. I'll be skipping the lab follow up, since I don't want another unexpected charge like this.

I been One medical member for years, I didn't get sick often in past so I thought One medical is ok. In past few months I got very sick from something, I went 5x to see 5 different providers at One medical, none of them really figure out what's going on, instead refers me to do MRI, lab or just follow up lab with my PCP at One medical, and they said my insurance need PA, then I have to wait months. Not real treatment/medicines, instead OTC or opinion. If only opinion or OTC, I can see youtube.com, how to get better from this kind of sick, no need see md. I got different symptoms each time from this sick, 2 months ago I saw 2 providers at One medical, I had little sore throat and runny nose, I told them I might need antibiotic from this infections, they said No, they told me to do labs, etc, that's all I got. Finally, I found another provider outside One Medical, she noticed my symptoms immediately, it been 3-4 months this kind of symptoms, itches, rash on my skin also, she prescribed me antiobiocts (without I asked) & ointment for rash, she told me ointment is steroid, I appreciated she told steroid, I always careful with steroid medicines, I don't really use the ointment, after I am taking antibiotics, 1-2 days later the itches is gone (I had it for 3 months & One medical providers just let me survived with this sickness without real treatments, yes for 3-4 months just around and around to see 5 different providers at One Medical, no clue), wasted my time and money. This new provider outside One medical also refers me to 2 specialists, fast, they also good, they take my insurance without craps like One Medical said I'd need PA, etc, etc, too much work. One of the specialists also hand me lab order at office, so nice, so I don't have to wait and print out (I don't have printer). The lab order actually I didn't ask also, the specialist gave to me to do lab, beside that he prescribed me same antibiotic and similar ointment like 1st provider who refers me there, I was surprised they both have same diagnostic, & treatments, must be right one this time, I am so happy, itches gone, rash gone, I feel better for 1 week already. With One medical providers,.I am the one who have to ask if I can have lab order, in case, if I didn't ask, I don't think they will order lab for me, they can't noticed/diagnostic problems immediately, they soft on medicines/no treatments, and slow on insurance, I feel One medical treated me like my insurance is medical/goverment, need PA (TAR) for everything, my insurance not even free like medical, why so hard everytime I want to see specialists or want to do procedures, One medical providers seems push me back to just wait for PA or sound like no specialists at all in this world for me, without their PA or referrals, I can't go anywhere. I am glad I found other provider make my life easier to see specialists, procedures, labs. No wonder, I heard some people said One medical not good. The only thing maybe just see the PCP that you choose at One Medical, because some providers there are mess.

Over my one year of membership, I've found no suitable or acceptable care at OneMedical. However, I've been under constant pressure during every interaction to sign unnecessary disclosure forms and perform unrelated tests. As a final act, they sent information to a third party without my signed or verbal consent, diagnosis, or treatment. Stay away.

Amazing service. First time I've felt *really* cared for by a healthcare provider. 1) never had to wait for an appointment (have gone 6-7 times, member for a year) 2) telemedicine is straightforward - they got my antibiotics quickly for strep without making me go in 3) the biggest win is doctors actually spend time with you. when they don't have to see a quota of patients per day, they can actually care about your wellbeing and ask you questions proactively. Never had a physical take 1+ hour before just chatting about my health (33, 165lbs, healthy male, some family medical history)
