Hi OffPiste Barb, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful and detailed review—we're thrilled to hear the Smart Topper has transformed sleep for you and your partner! Your story is exactly why we built this product. Couples with different temperature preferences often spend years negotiating comfort—covers on, covers off, thermostats up and down—and it sounds like you'd tried just about everything, including the Euro method with separate comforters. We love that you've now found your perfect setup: he gets his heat and down comforter, you get warm feet and a blissfully cool body, and you both sleep through the night. You mentioned two things that really resonate with us: First, the dual-zone temperature control—it's the feature that makes the Smart Topper such a strong fit for hot/cold couples. Each side is fully independent, so you're never compromising. Second, the footprint. You're right that there's no bulky hub, no water reservoir, and nothing to place beside the bed. Because our system uses active airflow rather than water, there are no hoses, no leaks, and no maintenance—just effective heat transfer through the topper itself. And the foot warming feature is one of those details people don't expect to love as much as they do. Thank you again for such a thoughtful recommendation. We're so glad you found your restful slumber—and that you finally get to use the covers. Warm regards, Chris & the Perfectly Snug team

Hi Joey, thank you so much for your review! Our team would love to help you optimize the cooling and fans for you if you'd like, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. What I recommend if you do reach out is to send screenshots of your and your wife's Home, Settings, and Schedule screens - these should be the settings you usually use. Then let us know what isn't quite perfect about your Snug experience. We can recommend the right adjustments. Breathable sheets are a must - if you hold your fitted sheet over your mouth and breathe through it, and can breathe easily, that is perfect. If it's hard to breathe, we recommend looking for something like a cotton or bamboo percale weave fitted sheet. For the fan volume, you might prefer a Fan Limit set in your app - I'd try 50-60%. It will keep the fans from going too loud, they'll run at a gentler speed for longer to keep you at your set point. Another option is to toggle Responsive Cooling off, but keep in mind that will have the fans run at a constant rate - no more automatic temperature adjustment to keep you at a chosen set point. We don't recommend this unless it's the fans changing speed at night that is disrupting your sleep. The Fan Limit adjustment usually has the exact same effect without any downside. For heating, that is my favourite feature - we hope you love it! Be sure to check out the preheating instructions at perfectlysnug.com/getting-started when the time comes, or email our team if you have questions. Thank you again, and have a great weekend!
