I really wanted a mac book pro and apple is expensive. I found this website with great deals! Of course I bought it and it came fully equipped and it works great.

If Powermax goes out of business so do I! I am a prolific composer who started writing music with Professional Composer in 1985. They are now called Mosaic and are produced by Mark of the Unicorn. Unfortunately, a few years ago they refused to upgrade their (perfect) music program a few years ago. There are literally thousands of files involved. So I need to archive outdated computers in order to run the program. I currently have three G4s all purchased from Powermax. I NEED 2: one for writing music and one for printing. Without Powermax to supply me with computers if one goes south (which they rarely do, I don't know what I will do. I had one earlier that I bought from them that didn't work when I got it. They replaced it, free of all charges, and even shipping was included. Their sales and tech departments are really friendly, and well informed. They match my needs with the correct computer without trying to sell me the most expensive one. Powermax is miraculous!

In fact there's no reason not to buy ANY mac product from anyone else, but these guys really DO test and stand behind their refurbs, unlike some who I suspect do little more than dust them off. I've bought many things from them over the years, their support is great! Going back to 2003, everything I have ever bought from them still works like new!

Thought a refurbished computer was a thoughtful choice, unfortunately, several weeks after purchase (and a few days after getting completely settled), the old owner locked me out by remote lockout. Powermax says it I s an Apple issue. They offered to trade it (expect several weeks)....or send another now - charge me....then credit when they get it back. Or - I drive it over to Apple to have everything erased so I can start again. All options = it wasn't worth it.

I was a little nervous about the condition of the monitors as the picture online was a generic apple shot. When I got the monitors I was thrilled with the better than factory packaging for a start and the condition of the displays... i.e. scratches, cosmetic, on screen , dead pixels etc... were non-existent! I'd recommend them to anyone! I'll be back. Thanks guys. Michael

Getting what I needed couldn't have been a better or or more painless experience! My Daughter's Mac Mini was priced very well, delivered quickly, and packaged to ensure it arrived in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to order from PowerMax in the future!
