Customer (student) support was very good ~ questions answered in a timely manner. The material is presented in a sequential format and is self-guided (no time limit). The student has lifetime access to the course materials. While the course is thorough, students are encouraged to use other resources to broaden knowledge. It was worth taking the course.

So far so good! It is great to have the review of what I should have remembered from English grammar. I am happy that I discovered Proofread Anywhere. I know it will really help me to expand my proofreading skills which I can pass on to clients.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because I could not write a review with none. This company does not teach anything that is not learned during high school English class. They do not refund your money for any reason. I requested a refund but because I was outside of their 14 day window, it was denied. They did not care that I had extenuating circumstances that caused me to go beyond the 14 days. I was told I would always have access. I do not want access. I want my money back! I learned everything you have to offer in high school as part of my educational process. Even those diet scams give 30-90 days and you can send the empty bottles back. Enjoy my money! Your company has no ethical or moral character!

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are truly sorry that our program did not meet your expectations. We always aim to provide the highest quality training for our students, and it’s disappointing to hear that you feel the course did not offer what you were hoping for. However, we would like to clarify a few points. Our program goes far beyond high school English, as we not only teach advanced proofreading skills but also provide detailed training on how to market yourself to clients, build a freelance business, and navigate the nuances of professional proofreading. These are skills that are not typically covered in a high school curriculum. Regarding our refund policy, it’s clearly stated during the registration process and in our Terms of Service that we offer a 14-day refund window. Unfortunately, as you were outside of this timeframe, we were unable to process a refund. We understand that life can throw unexpected challenges, and we try to be as flexible as possible within the boundaries of our policy, which exists to ensure fairness to all students. If there is anything we can do to help you with the course content or any challenges you’re facing, we would be happy to assist. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope you find a path that aligns with your goals.

I had not done proofreading in a while and wanted to refresh this skill. Proofread Anywhere helped me relearn everything I needed to know. The emphasis on grammar was beneficial. The worksheets were fun as well as helpful. The essays were a true test of my skill! A good program for the beginner as well as a great refresher!

This company can improve by not selling c**p. There’s nothing here worth the few hundreds of $$ they charge. As one reviewer put it, “the most I can make is $5.00/hr”. OK, I was scammed & that means I was stupid. My bad. Just a warning - scroll on by! Oh, I did get something. I got 17 emails in 4 days trying to sell me something else. DON’T DO IT!

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Susan. We're truly sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience. Our goal is to provide valuable tools and resources that help students become successful proofreaders and build thriving freelance businesses, and it’s upsetting to hear that we didn’t meet your expectations. I want to clarify that our course focuses on teaching the skills needed to attract quality clients who value skilled proofreaders and pay far more than the low rates mentioned. We also provide marketing guidance to help our students find those better-paying opportunities. Many of our graduates have gone on to earn well beyond that, and we’re always here to support our students in reaching those goals. Regarding the emails, we apologize if they felt overwhelming. We aim to provide useful resources and information. You can always adjust your email preferences if needed. We truly appreciate your feedback and are happy to discuss how we can address your concerns or help you get more out of the program.
