Red Roof InnReviews of redroof.com

I want to acknowledge the front desk associate Stephanie. Red Roof Marana. She has been extremely helpful. She is very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for what she considers her guest. The only reason I stay at this location is because of her.

I stayed at redroof inn for 3 months after leaving a very bad domestic situation. What I loved was there security guard who looks after the property. I never felt so safe in a long time. She is the most friendly, alert, and prompt guard I ever encountered. I'm at the Richardson location in Dallas and I know that I'm protected and safe because of their security guard. Thanks to redroof Richardson for making my stay safe and secure.

For EIGHTEEN YEARS, I nearly ALWAYS chose Red Roof Inn for my cross-country trips. No, not the most posh accommodations, but all I wanted was a reasonably clean room (as in no dirtier than my home) and a bed for the night. NEVER AGAIN! I had an issue with a very RUDE, UNCARING, and DISHONEST manager in Saginaw, MI. (Story far too long to tell here.) I contacted EIGHT Red Roof people for help (all of whom claimed they couldn't) so finally ended up contacting the CEO--at four different addresses to be sure he received my letter. (I'm hearing impaired and cannot understand speech over the phone.) I received absolutely NO response at all. I rarely get to the point where I feel it necessary to write a CEO, but on the rare occasions I have, I've gotten immediate action (and apologies), including from companies far larger than Red Roof. This guy obviously doesn't care one iota about customers, even long-time loyal ones. Starts at the top...which explains the Saginaw manager's attitude. Red Roof has gained my $61 (for which I received no room), but they have lost a lifetime customer and the many times over $61 they would have earned from my future business. Red Roof has plenty of competition out there; I strongly encourage others to avoid Red Roof and turn to the many other economy lodgings out there.

Writing concerning my attempted stay at Anderson SC, Aug 5, 2019. This facility truly felt like a transient motel. Hearing 2 separate guests/patrons complaining at front desk about having trouble with someone else at the inn and being told by front desk the only thing they could suggest was to call the police was not comforting upon check-in. I had reserved an ADA non-smoking room and was was given a room that was NOT clean and totally trashed. Beer can between the nightstand, mattress cover on the bed was ridden with cigarette burns in addition to cigarette wrappers and ashes in a trashcan that was overrun, but yet there was a note on the desk in room stating it had been cleaned. The 2nd room offered was worse than the first. Then 4 other rooms were checked by management and they were not cleaned either. We were refunded our reservation costs, but when asked to be reimbursed for the extra amount it cost us to stay elsewhere at 12 midnight the only thing we were offered was an apology by email. I have back up pictures to substantiate my statements that was also shared with Red Roof Inn corporation management who told me our horrible experience only warranted a written apology by them. Will be most happy to share pictures with others if needed. Trust me folks, it was awful!!! Marquita Rector

Please don't ever stay at the Red Roof Inn in Va Beach Va off Newton Rd. Myself and my husband stay there on Tuesday night woke up to a damn ROACH!!!!!!!@ crawl across my face. Went to the front desk to tell them what happened and they lied "Saying they offered us another room. Lies!!!!! Then later that day went and talked to someone and she act like I was lying about a 85 dollar room. Smdh then I called the head office waiting to hear from them.

Room 129 had a sour smell! Changed me to room 132 the lights didn't work! Sent me to room 107, and a mouse was running around inside!!!

Put my 100 year old mother in wheelchair on 2nd floor with no elevator. Was told they can’t guarantee rooms. Nite clerk gave me someone else’s ground floor room. Came back to fly home and once again on 2nd floor. Got upset and punched yes on credit card machine and desk clerk said he was considering cancelling my room as I had an attitude!! Stay somewhere else than Red Roof Inn Rockford IL. And their key card holder says to call front desk if they can make your stay more enjoyable!!
