I love SFAX!! It is HIPPA compliant, so convenient and I can easily send and receive documents on my computer. No standing at the fax machine to wait- SFAX lets me know when a fax has gone through, failed or if I have received a fax via email. This is the easiest, low-cost, and always-available faxing service a business or person can find. I have the ability to fax whenever I need, whenever I'm connected to the Internet. Having a very low volume of faxes, it makes no sense to spend a lot of money on a separate phone line & machine. This is a great low-cost alternative. I would highly recommend (and have) Sfax for personal or small business use. Allowing for multiple users at off-site locations is also a real benefit.
