The Patented Original SHHHOWERCAP®Reviews of shhhowercap.com

This company has some serious issues going on and they use every stall tactic available including addressing affected customer as "VIP" with no definitive ETA on when or if the products will ever ship. The excuse given to me was that they were migrating their website to a new platform which caused delays in fulfilling orders. They have no issues with payment acceptance but they are unable to fulfill any orders which in essence is a SCAM or illegal business. Meanwhile they seem to be able to pay for the barrage of Instagram ads. Not sure how they're still able to advertise.

Terrible company. Bought a product in May and, despite my numerous emails since then, I received neither the product nor a refund. Very unethical. (But of course I am still barraged with their ads on Instagram...)

I emailed and requested a status or refund on July 11, 2022 as my purchase was made in May and I had not received it or a shipping update. They responded to me on 11/23/2022 stating there is no estimated date at this point of when my product will ship. I responded and let them know that is unacceptable and I want a refund or I’m making a BBB claim. This is beyond a supply chain issue that I’ve seen elsewhere and just poor service and scam worthy. I sincerely hope they aren’t still taking orders.

It’s a scam. I paid over £100 for 2 shower caps and they never arrived. Every time I emailed them they apologised and said they had refunded me but they never did. It’s been 6 months now and they either ignore your email or respond saying we’ve refunded it but no refund. DO NOT BUY.

I bought a Shhhowercap years ago and LOVED it. It's cute, well-made (mine didn't show any wear after years), dries quickly and doesn't get gross. I am so bummed that I left it behind in a hotel room this summer. I liked it so much that I ordered a new one in June -- it's now NOVEMBER and I have I not gotten my order (despite Shhowercap charging me -- and these are definitely more expensive than it seems they should be, but knowing I'll use it for years decided it was worth it to replace it). Not only have I not gotten the order, but Shhowercap has literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm almost to the point of deciding the entire company is a scam and I should be reporting them somewhere and disputing the charge... maybe they just took my money and the product doesn't exist? I have to HOUND customer service to get a response to my questions about where my order is (literally hound -- I get about one response for every 4 times I reach out, and this has been going on since July). I occasionally get a response that it's delayed and when I follow up to ask more details (like, if I switch to another pattern, can I get it now? When is it set to arrive? can I get a refund?) or support with my order (like, I've MOVED since placing this order and now need to change the address...) I get silence. Oh and their latest email, which said "my order is a priority" but gave no actual update on the status literally said "by responding to this email you're just making our response time slower so don't respond" !!!!. I'd love to recommend this product to everyone I know -- it's so great -- but it feels like I'd be sending my friends to a scammer. Will never purchase from here again or recommend the product to anyone, sadly.

Same experience as what's listed here. Ordered a cap in April, and still waiting. One vague response and no longer replying to emails. Save your money.

Ordered in July 2022. Never received product. No communication other than confirmation of order stating they would let me know when it has shipped.

One of the worst, most unprofessional customer service experiences of my life. I ordered on June 4, 2022. It is now November 2, 2022 and I have not received my product. After one initial response saying my order would ship 2-3 weeks after purchase, they completely ghosted me. I have sent multiple emails, no response. I filed a claim with the BBB, no response. I tried calling their number, the line is always "busy." This is a scam company. Shame on them. DO NOT BUY!
