I’m amazed from the quality of the two straps I ordered. Parcel was delivered in 12 days and found everything on point. Thanks to Clara who helped me sort out how to properly use the dials.

Bad Company
Bad Company , lie and cheats I have several emails from them to prove this , they make fake promises to delay the refund time and never may
Reply from The Mod ProjectsNov 27, 2025
Hello Raj,
we’re sorry you feel this way. We do not lie, delay refunds on purpose, or make “fake promises”. Every refund request follows a clear process, and we have no interest in holding anyone’s money longer than necessary.
If you have emails that you believe show otherwise, you’re welcome to share them with our team, we’re fully open to reviewing the entire thread. What usually causes delays is missing information needed to complete the return, not any intention to avoid a refund.
Please forward the emails you mentioned to [email protected], and we’ll go through everything step by step so we can close your case properly.

Scammers !
Avoid at all costs. Chinese scammers send you very low quality rubbish. Make you jump through hoops to return the products then never refund.
The reply below is absolute BS ! They haven’t sent any emails or refunded anything. As above , utter scummy scammers and liars. AVOID at all costs.
It’s this easy - refund me today. I can withdraw my review. Otherwise , your replies are just more lies. It really is that simple.
If you are still waiting for a refund months after returning their junk - leave a review on Trustpilot and suddenly they acknowledge your return and cough up. AVOID !

Hello Jason,
we understand you’re frustrated, but the accusatory tone and the claims you’re making are not accurate. When communication becomes this hostile, it often leads to conclusions that are simply not based on facts, and this is exactly what’s happening here.
For full transparency, we’ve documented every step of your case, including the emails sent to you and the actions taken by our team with the specific date and time. You can review the complete evidence here:

As clearly shown, everything we stated in our initial reply was done exactly as described. Your case was handled, updates were provided, and the instructions for completing your refund were sent to you multiple times.
If you’re willing to continue the process in a constructive way, our team will finalize this as soon as you respond. You can reach us at [email protected].

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Poor Quality and Even Worse Customer Service
I purchased a product from The Mod Project on 21 September 2025, and from the very start, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing.
I received confirmation the same day and an email on 25 September saying the item had shipped. It arrived on 30 September 2025, but unfortunately, the item was damaged straight out of the box. I contacted customer service immediately and was told that a replacement watch case would be arranged due to the poor quality of the first one.
Since then, it’s been nothing but broken promises and endless back-and-forth emails. I was told several times that my case had been “escalated to senior management,” but clearly, senior management either doesn’t care or doesn’t exist. I’ve had at least five separate emails claiming that my issue was being prioritised yet nothing was ever actually done.
The product was refunded on 9 October 2025, but I never received the replacement I was promised, nor any response to my request for compensation. Instead, I just kept receiving long, polite emails full of apologies but with no real action.
On 21 October 2025, I followed up again after being told I’d receive a final update within 24–48 hours it’s now been six days, and still no response. That says everything about how they treat customers once they have your money.
In my opinion, The Mod Project over-promises and under-delivers. The communication is slow, the service is poor, and the company does not take accountability for its mistakes. They seem more focused on appearing helpful than actually solving problems.
I feel ignored, disappointed, and frustrated. Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying from The Mod Project. If anything goes wrong with your order, don’t expect it to be resolved quickly or at all.
Think twice before you buy.

Hello imran,
we’re genuinely sorry to read about your experience, we fully understand why this felt frustrating, and it’s clear that our communication didn’t meet the standard we want for our customers.
To clarify for anyone reading:
your order was refunded in full on 9 October, and the delay in providing an additional update was our mistake. Your request for a replacement case should have been handled faster, and we’ll be reviewing your ticket internally to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
We appreciate you taking the time to share the full timeline. Your feedback helps us improve the way we follow up on escalated cases and close them more efficiently.
If there’s anything else you’d like us to review, you can always contact us at [email protected] and our team will be happy to assist you directly.

Purchased the watch faces but they are using a 3rd party app to install and they do not stay on the screen the whole time you have to double click the side button and go back onto the app for your watch face to appear
Very misleading
Reply from The Mod ProjectsNov 26, 2025
Hello Ali,
thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry the experience hasn’t matched your expectations so far.
Our watch faces do use a dedicated companion app, but with the correct settings and by following the step-by-step video tutorial we send privately after purchase, the result is different from what you describe:
the face stays open for hours and simply refreshes every time you tap or raise your wrist.
It sounds like some settings may not be configured correctly on your Apple Watch yet. Our team would be happy to walk you through the setup so you can get the intended experience, or find another solution if you prefer.
Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll assist you personally.

Poor quality watch straps…
Chinese quality watch straps marked up with Parisian prices. Most likely a drop shipping scam. The quality is so deficient, I will not wear it. Between the cheap spring pins, the thin rubber strap and the light-gauge clasp, I don't want to risk losing my watch. They also sell "premium" watch faces for $19 that you can get for free on the Clockology widget extension. I risked it to see what came and it was vey disappointing when I received the item today.

Hello Michael,
we’re sorry to hear the product didn’t meet your expectations, that’s not the experience we want for anyone.
To clarify for those reading: The Mod Projects is a Paris-based brand, and our products are designed here and produced with selected and private manufacturers in China to match the level of customization our cases and straps require. The strap you received uses reinforced spring bars, a stainless-steel clasp, and a rubber compound chosen for flexibility and comfort, not thinness.
Regarding the watch faces: the Hyper-Realistic designs sold separately are exclusive to our collection. They are not available online, cannot be found on Clockology, and do not appear on any public watch-face platforms. They’re created specifically to pair with our models and can only be installed through the private files and tutorial we send after purchase.
That said, we fully respect your opinion and want to help you end this experience positively. Our team has already a solution for you to be sent once you contact us anytime at [email protected].

Their return policy is a lie
Their return policy is a lie. I've tried to email their support so many times and I had to resort to a card dispute to get my money back.

Hello,
we’re sorry to hear you felt ignored, that’s not the experience we want anyone to have.
For clarity: our return policy is active and fully functional, and every return request is handled through our support team. We couldn't locate your order or find your name in our Database so it's hard for us to concretely assist you here.
Your bank dispute has now closed the order automatically, but if you need any further assistance or want us to review anything else, you can reach us anytime at [email protected].

Happy with my purchase of the AP Mod Case and strap…
I purchased the AP Mod Case and strap in the stainless steel color. It has definitely enhanced the look of my apple watch. I have had a number of colleagues comment on the watch, thinking that i had splurged on a new timepiece. One colleague who loves watches recognized it is an AP and thought AP had come out with a digital watch. I don't wear it all the time but when i do, it feels great. I give it 5 stars. If i were to be very critical, i find it too bulky for wearing when i go for a jog, requiring me to put a different band on. It doesn't fit easily under some of my tailored dress shirts with tight cuffs. And, it does not sit as well on the charger when the case is on so i usually need to take it out of the case to charge.
Reply from The Mod ProjectsNov 26, 2025
Hi Jim,
thank you for the great review, we’re really glad to hear how much the AP Mod Case has transformed your Apple Watch and that people around you are noticing it. That feeling is exactly what we aim for with every model we design.
We appreciate your notes on bulk and charging as well. The presence on the wrist is part of the look, but we understand it can feel less practical in certain situations.
If you ever need anything, we’re here at [email protected].
Thanks again for choosing us.
