The NovelryReviews of thenovelry.com

I am a writer, re-entering the writing market after a long break. I had lost all my mojo and confidence with writing and thought The Novelry might get me back on track. Initially sceptical, I am overjoyed with my choice. The course is packed with useful tips, coaches are fantastic and team accessible. Of course you have to put in a big commitment and work hard, so not for those used to short online courses. If you are truly committed though, this platform is second to none. I wish I had joined earlier.

I've just finished the first module of The Finished Novel Course (about three months in). The experience so far has been exceptional. It's a very supportive environment with inspirational tutors and plenty of opportunities to share the experience with other students. The quality of learning materials is very high, and they are presented in a format that makes it very easy to navigate the vast library of resources available. My hand has been held firmly along the way and I have no doubt I will finish the course with a completed novel - something I would not have thought possible twelve months ago.

The Novelry is one of best comprehensive resources on the planet for serious writers. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an accomplished writer. These programs are tailored to the writer, and the resources are astonishing. All you have to do is be serious and willing to put in the work.

The Novelry is such a gift to aspiring writers. It packs in a lifetime's worth of writing wisdom and practical tools, striking the perfect balance of structure and freedom. This course has left me feeling prepared and ready to embark on writing my novel. It's given me so many tools I didn't know I needed, and looking back I can't believe I was writing without them! The Novelry demystifies the creative process by pulling lessons from the greats, which was such a fun and cozy way to learn. Their accessible, friendly, no-ego approach to writing is such a breath of fresh air.

Much better program than I expected! Great online community, and the first online class that didn't feel like I was dragging my heels to finish.

I’ve been “pantsing” a novel for years and keep getting lost in the middle- sometimes 50,000 words or more in. The feeling of frustration and failure overwhelming me each time. The Novelry has been exactly what I was looking for, needing to get back to understanding story structure, inspiration, and a story I love - and more importantly - solid plan. I honestly still can’t believe I get to work with published authors I deeply admire as coaches and highly respected editors whose input, experience, and knowledge of the reader’s pov is absolutely invaluable. There are so many resources and lessons I’ve barely touched the surface and the writing community is amazing. This is an incredible opportunity and I’ve gone from thinking my dream of being a published author might be more than just a dream- but a reality. I wish I’d signed up sooner!

The Novelry was recommended by a friend, who became agented after her work with the Novelry. Having completed the Classic course, now moving on to the 90-day novel, I can see the time I wasted on other courses. Save your sanity. Start here. Even if you already have material written or a first draft of your ms done. I find it's worth it so far. Looking forward to the final edit course.

Before you sign up to that expensive university writing course, consider The Novelry instead. I have done both and can vouch for the latter. I am drafting my first novel with 1-to-1 coaching from a multi-award-winning literary author while taking a series of amazing courses written and delivered by another. I enjoy several live events every week with authors and editors from all the big publishing houses. I look forward to updating this review when my novel is finished...
