I find the coaching sessions especially useful to be able to fix what I've always had trouble with in my stories. I love that it's easy to get help and guidance from Louise and all the other staff, as well as members who offer kind feedback in the groups. The workshops are also great, even if I can't often connect. I love having the recorded versions to watch whenever I have the chance. Overall, it's being a great experience and I trust that it will get me to where I dream of going since I was a kid!

This is such a fantastic course! It was exactly what I needed to start my writing career. The resources, community, and lessons are unmatched. I highly recommend it!

The Classic course at The Novelry is just the sort of comforting place we all need to start in, for those of us who have always wanted to write a book but lacked the confidence to jump in. The course progression is skillfully mapped out and the exercises are fun, quick yet challenging, but only because the team asks you to focus - to focus on a task that has likely overwhelmed or genuinely scared you. At the end of the course, you will be chomping at the bit to get writing. More importantly, you will find yourself with a cohort of fellow writers - a wonderful community of like-minded folks - all writing.

What a wonderful resource for aspiring authors! With clear instruction, honest (yet kind) feedback, and the clients ultimate goal in mind, I was able to lean into the skills I already had, and learn the ones I needed. In particular, Louise's simple and instructive lessons, Kate's determination to set me on the right path, and Tash's goal-oriented feedback helped me not only get to a place as a writer that I've dreamed of for years, but to fall back in love with the process of writing. I can't sing their praises enough!

I've wanted to write a book for many years now, and the main reason I didn't was because I didn't think I had what it took to write one. The Novelry provides a really supportive environment that equips you with the questions to ask yourself to write a novel, and concrete skills to write a compelling story. I've loved how approachable and strength-focused it is! I'd highly recommend this to anyone who has wanted to write a book but aren't sure where to start. Aside from writing, the Novelry has been really fantastic for my mental health in encouraging me to take time for myself, and what is important and nourishing for me. It's been really fantastic to focus more on living in the moment, and take joy in the little everyday things in life. I've also loved the community that I've gained, and new folks that I otherwise wouldn't have connected with!

What an incredible experience. Louise has created pure magic. From the videos that are warm, inviting and encouraging, to lessons that are brimming over with knowledge beyond anything I could have imagined, and tasks that take you by the hand and act as a trustworthy guide as you nurture your idea to life. This course has shown me that, yes, it takes a lot of work to create a story worthy of readers, but it can be done from a place of curiosity, joy and space. What a gift. Thank you!

Outstanding guidance, on both holistic and tactical levels.

I just completed the 90 day novel course. I heartily recommend it. There is such great value with all of the blogs, events and catch-up TV (previous events). But most importantly, the coaching and the lessons are exactly what I needed to stay motivated, work through writing blocks and all the emotions that come with writing a novel!
