Jerika, I wanted to address the review and explain what actually transpired. You spoke with multiple people at our company, and we do not have anyone in management, dispatch, or customer service who does not speak English. The only person you may have encountered with limited English was one of the laborers on the moving crew, but they were not responsible for customer communication. The foreman, dispatcher Lydia, and our management team were the ones directly communicating with you throughout the move. So to base the entire experience on one laborer does not accurately reflect the communication or service you received.
Also, please understand it was never part of your agreement for us to pack your boxes or provide unlimited packing materials. Your estimate did not include full packing services. The services included were loading, transportation, unloading, furniture protection, and standard disassembly/reassembly. Customers are responsible for packing their own boxes unless packing services are specifically purchased.
As far as your claim that the move was “overpriced,” we transported your belongings from Texas to Georgia — over 1,550 miles — for under $4,000. Your quoted total was $3,807.60, and when the movers arrived, your price did not increase by a single penny. You signed the agreement, approved the inventory, and the truck was loaded exactly as agreed.
Regarding delivery, one of the first questions asked at pickup was your “first available delivery date.” The date you provided was April 14th, meaning nobody was available in Georgia to receive the shipment until then. Because of that, the delivery process did not begin until April 14th arrived.
As explained before the move, interstate deliveries of this distance operate within a 10–14 day delivery window from the first available delivery date. Once April 14th arrived, your shipment was delivered in less than 7 days, which was actually faster than the timeframe originally discussed. If you had advised us at pickup that you were available immediately after loading on March 23rd, your shipment likely would have arrived much sooner. However, because your requested delivery availability was April 14th, the shipment had to remain staged until a truck was routed toward Georgia around that timeframe.
At no point during pickup or transit did you report any concerns regarding wrapping, handling, or damages. In fact, we are reviewing the job photos now, and everything appears to have been professionally wrapped and protected. Unfortunately, Trustpilot does not allow us to upload those photos publicly.
Please also understand that with moving — especially involving particleboard or inexpensive furniture — minor cosmetic damage can sometimes occur even with proper handling. However, if there truly was excessive damage as now being claimed, we do not understand why no calls, emails, or claim forms were submitted to the support contacts listed throughout your paperwork. It has now been over a month since delivery, and the first time we became aware of these concerns was through the review itself.
At the end of the day, your price never increased, your shipment traveled over 1,500 miles, and your delivery was completed within the timeframe tied directly to the first available delivery date you personally provided at pickup.
That being said, we will still personally reach out to discuss your concerns further and provide guidance regarding the standard claims process if necessary.
