Sam — love hearing this! Easy ordering and fast shipping is exactly what we're going for. Thanks a ton for the support, it really matters to a small shop like ours. If you're ever shopping again, happy to send you a friends-and-family discount, just ask! — Trot Pets

I bought a set from them years ago right after the re-launch and it was not made correctly (the mat was too small for the stand). They apologized, said there were issues with their vendor and quickly remedied. I've now gone to buy another set and the pre-drilled holes in the stand are completely mis-aligned, so I reached out requesting that they make it right. Initially I received immediate and helpful responses, however when it came time to actually make the fix, I was ghosted. Many emails later I only got a response when I said I would be disputing the charge through Amex and now the response is entirely different and makes it seem like I may not get any assistance. Unfortunately, I wish I never ordered - unless you have money to burn and never see again, don't buy from them!

Elizabeth, thank you for sticking with us as a returning customer — and I'm really sorry we let you down this time. The misaligned holes are frustrating enough, but going quiet on you when it was time to fix it is worse. We're only a couple of people and we dropped the ball, plain and simple. Send me your order number (photos of the holes help too if you have them) and we'll get you a replacement or refund sorted — no need for any Amex dispute. If we make this right, I'd be so grateful if you'd consider updating your review. — Trot Pets

First and foremost, the bowls are great! How ever, I cannot say the same for the customer service. I wanted to exchange the bowls for a different color. I paid for 2 new bowls and returned the original ones with a note requesting a refund. The bowls were shipped back 8/10/26. I am still waiting for my refund. Not happy! Kathryn B

Hi Kathryn — ugh, I'm sorry about the refund. You sent the bowls back on 8/10 and still nothing? That's way too long, no way around it. We're a super small team and returns sometimes take us longer than they should, but I'll chase yours down myself. Just reply with your order number or the name on the order and I'll get the refund processed and confirm it with you as soon as I can. If that gets resolved, would you mind updating your review? — Trot Pets

These are the best lick trays I've ever gotten for my dogs. They are heavy duty and made very well. I also received them within days of ordering. Would definitely buy again!

Had to replace my stander for my 2 bowl feeder, a leg on the first one simply broke off at the joint, it was less than 9 months old, the new one does not seem well made either the joints don't come together when i screw the legs on and concerned about tightening them too much concerned the bamboo will crack overall not impressed with the build quality

Hey Kwang, sorry about the stand — a leg snapping at the joint under 9 months is not okay, and the replacement not lining up right just adds insult to injury. Send me your order number and I'll get you a proper replacement that we've checked over before it goes out. We're a small crew so give me a little time, but I'll get back to you ASAP. And if the new one does the job, would you be willing to reconsider your rating? — Trot Pets

My shipment was missing one of the two large 12” elevated two bowl stands. Please send it’s replace as soon as possible.

David, I'm sorry — one of the two stands missing from your shipment is 100% our mistake. Just reply with your order number and address and I'll get the missing 12" stand sent out to you right away, obviously on us. We're only a couple people here so I appreciate your patience, but I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Once it's on its way, would you consider updating your review? — Trot Pets

The feeding stands are not solid. They are made of light wood and are shaky. They shake and move too easily when our 90 pound dogs are eating them.
Reply from trotpets.comSep 24, 2026
Hey Richard, fair point — two 90-pound dogs will test any stand, and shaky isn't good enough. Which size stand did you get? Send me your order number and I'll take a look at options with you, whether that's getting the setup more stable or talking through a sturdier swap. Small team here, just a couple of us, but I'll reply as soon as I can. If we land on something that works, I'd love it if you'd consider updating your rating. — Trot Pets

I will be interested to see how durable the stand is as time goes on but I love this food and water bowl set. It arrived super quickly. It seems clot be very good quality and it’s super cute!
