✅✅✅✅✅ I'd like to address the situation regarding your move. We've responded to your negative review on Google and even sent a cease and desist letter through our lawyer due to your efforts to solicit negative reviews on social media. This is considered harassment, and we may involve legal authorities. You booked your move on November 21, and as per the contract, you were responsible for packing your boxes. On Thanksgiving/Black Friday, a holiday, you contacted us, but we were closed for the week after Thursday. We had recordings of your calls with the agent and our Dispatch. The movers and the truck were on schedule on November 25, as promised. However, a few hours before the move, you informed us of your illness, and none of your belongings were packed. You requested the movers to bring and pack boxes, leading to additional costs. Your residence was in disarray, with littered tissue, a messy sofa, full trash, and scattered paperwork. Contrary to your claim, the house wasn't packed at all. You initially stated nine items and 32 pieces, but upon arrival, the movers found discrepancies and items you didn't disclose:
- Queen-size bed with a boxspring, headboard, footboard
- Dresser
- Futon
- Washer
- Dryer
- 50 boxes (not the estimated 25)
- Desk
- Area rug
Your inaccurate inventory and the unexpected need for additional packing materials caused the additional charges. We requested an accurate inventory for non-boxed items and an estimated box count, which you provided as 25. The significant difference between the estimate and the actual inventory, along with the unexpected packing requirements, led to increased costs. We acknowledge your dissatisfaction, but it's essential to note that we fulfilled our commitment by sending movers. We charged for the additional services and materials necessitated by the unanticipated situation. We encourage open communication to address concerns, but unfounded claims of being a scam company are unwarranted.
Furthermore, even though our moving services were commenced, and even though the moves did not successfully load or complete this job because of the additional items and because of the additional packing materials you requested the day of your move. Your deposit was $563.20 we offered to give you a partial refund of $400. You denied the $400 partial refund and stated “I will only accept $563.20 and nothing less.” So I would like it to be known that we did still make an attempt to offer you a partial refund.
I want to highlight that this marks your fourth negative review, each time with escalating exaggerations. We're pursuing legal action due to your pattern of enlisting strangers and family to post unwarranted negative reviews. Despite your efforts, the Better Business Bureau dismissed your case, acknowledging our compliance. We even attempted to refund $400, contingent on your friends and family removing the false reviews. Your evolving review, posted a few days ago, reflects significant edits. When our moving company faced challenges due to your unprepared house, your negligence painted us unfairly as the "bad guys."
