I want to clarify what occurred with your move. On January 2, 2024, you provided an inventory to our agent, and all calls are recorded for incidents. The agent requested details on all large furniture and non-boxed items. The contract offered was binding to this inventory. Your initial inventory included 286 ft.³, eight items, and 34 pieces, based on which you were quoted at $5.50 per cubic foot and a gas cost of 13%, totaling $204.49. Fast forward to January 5, one day before your first pickup date (January 6), you indicated forgotten items. Upon inclusion, the system noted an addition, leading to a natural increase in the cubic feet you need and ultimately the price due to your updated inventory of 422 ft.³, 20 items, and 48 pieces. Despite these changes, we reduced the rate to $5.00 per cubic foot (instead of the original $5.50) “ Which you stated that was not good enough, and that we should go F*** Ourselves)
We also took the gas cost down to 10%, (instead of 13% ) saving you $75. We also cut the additional labor costs to ease the additional charges. Even after considering the overlooked items, we managed to still establish a price for your move nearly 1400 miles cheaper than if you'd handled it independently. Originally after you gave us the additional items your move now estimated at $3300, with all the efforts we put in to help reduce the additional cost, which while exhausting every effort and cutting every corner, you were very Nasty in the language that you choose with our female staff, and you’re original agent. we still strived to make it more cost-effective, eventually reducing it to under $2700. At this point, it hasn’t even been three hours since you requested a refund and you’ve already went on multiple Review sites to leave a negative review. At this point, please let us know what more we can do to solve the issue. We’ve even told you that we would still send the moving truck out to pick you up at the original price and that if you wanted to bring the other items you could pay the additional charges then. But you admitted on the recorded line that there were additional items, and that you knew that the contract would not be the same. Which ultimately means you broke the “binding to not exceed” guarantee.
At the end of the day the quote your saying is "to good to be true" was only altered because you admittingly did NOT provide the agent with all the items. Our quote only change because of the following:
