VortexHaus US4.7Honesty, pricing, process and quality scores appear once 5 customers have rated them.
You're here to see if this is real. Fair. Here's the scoreboard: 37,236 units shipped, 4.8★ on Trustpilot, and most of these reviews are from people who were skeptical first too. What makes us different: small tool, serious power, runs on the Makita, Milwaukee, and DeWalt batteries you already own. We're a US & UK based team that obsesses over quality — every unit is vetted and QC'd before it ships. Backed by a 90-Day One-Pull Test Drive and a support team (Diane, Marielle, Kerbie) that actually fixes things fast. Read a few reviews below and you'll see the pattern.
VortexHaus US (vortexhaus.com) has 488 customer reviews on Folks Told, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5.

These people care deeply about doing the right thing. This jet is the most effective tool I own.

Hey Nick, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. Doing the right thing is non-negotiable for us. Hearing that this is the most effective tool you own means everything. We’ll keep overdelivering. Always. Appreciate you, Arthur

Haven't received the product yet, but Diane in Customer Service kept me informed the whole time. Editing my review...Bought the product for my Husband. I have stolen it and use the heck out of it. Drying my vehicle off, getting snow and debris out of the garage, etc. This thing is a beast! I guess I will let him use it occasionally...maybe!

Hey Lisa, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. Thank you for the kind words about Diane — she takes updates and communication personally. She hates leaving customers in the dark, so messages like yours really motivate the team. I believe your blower has already arrived, so I’d love to hear what you think of the product itself! Appreciate you being patient with us. Arthur

Hey Melissa, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. This is exactly how support should work. Fast, clear, and actually helpful. We’re setting a new standard because customers have waited long enough for companies to take responsibility and do things right. Thanks for trusting us and for sharing this. Arthur

We received the turbo jet double-blow V2 today but it does not work with the Milwaukee 18V battery. The advertising says it works with Dewalt, Mikita, and Milwaukee. I have just contacted support so do not have an answer yet. We would like to give this as a gift on Sunday so hoping for a quick response.

Hi Linda, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. Thank you for flagging this and I’m really glad you reached out. The Turbo Jet works with one battery ecosystem at a time: DeWalt, Makita, or Milwaukee. On product pages, customers select their battery platform so the correct unit is sent. From what I can see, your order was placed for the DeWalt version, which would explain why a Milwaukee battery isn’t fitting. That said, we clearly need to make this distinction more obvious, and I appreciate you calling it out. We’ll tighten that messaging. Here’s what we can do right now, especially since this is a gift: • Send you a Milwaukee-compatible unit immediately • Include a Milwaukee battery and charger replacement if needed, at no cost • Priority handling so this arrives as soon as possible Please reply to our support team and reference this review so we can fast-track it and confirm the best option for you. We’ll make sure this gift lands exactly how it should.

I had a problem with the unit I bought - it overheated on its first use. When I reported the problem to the company, they immediately took responsibility, issued me a full refund, and actually sent me a replacement as well! They turned a problem into an amazing customer experience!

Hey James, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. First and most important: what you described is alarming, and I’m genuinely sorry you experienced this. A situation involving smoke or overheating is unacceptable. Your safety always comes first. Let me be very clear. This should not have happened. Our blowers are designed with thermal protection that automatically shuts the unit down if abnormal heat is detected. In extremely rare cases, a defective internal component can still fail, and when it does, we take it seriously. Our defect rate is extremely low, but even one case like this matters. Here is what I’ve personally approved, effective immediately: • A full refund, no questions asked • A free replacement full bundle (unit, battery, and charger) at our cost • Priority shipping so you receive it as fast as possible • Our engineering and QC team will inspect and analyze your returned unit to understand exactly what failed and prevent it from ever happening again Please reach out to our customer support team at [email protected] and reference this review. They are already briefed and will handle this immediately. Thank you for calling this out. Feedback like this is uncomfortable, but it’s necessary. It helps us tighten our systems and do better. We will make this right, Arthur

Ordered on 12/6/25 and have received the following message from USPS: The package associated with this tracking number was found to bear counterfeit postage and is now considered Postal Service property under USPS regulations and will not be delivered. You are encouraged to contact the sender" Scam? No update from “Vortex Haus”

Hi Cindy, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. I’m really sorry for the confusion and the lack of clarity you experienced. I completely understand why receiving a message like that from USPS would be alarming. Here is the transparent context. During the early Nov/Dec surge, our USA warehouse experienced an unusually high order volume. In that window, a small number of shipments were affected by a USPS processing issue related to postage handling. That explanation is not an excuse. It’s simply what happened. What matters is how we fix it. Here’s what has already been done on your order: • A partial refund has already been processed as an apology • Shipping policies have been updated across our site for full clarity for future customers • Your order will be fully resolved • On top of that, I’m offering you a free full bundle at my cost as a goodwill gesture Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] and reference this review. They are already aware and will handle this immediately. Thank you for your patience. We are genuinely doing everything possible to correct the situation and move faster, and we will do better. Arthur

No delivery, not delivered within the promised time frame and the tracking is now dead. Delivery is so slow despite the claim of "What we’re doing to speed things up • Upgrading new shipments to USPS Priority Mail at no extra cost • Prioritizing delayed orders • Increasing warehouse capacity • Adding additional quality and packaging shifts" It seems this isn't the case, tracking is now dead, lots of misleading claims on their site about how great they are. Just another Chinese drop shop with lots of false claims

Hey Bruce, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. You’re right. There was a delay, and tracking going quiet is frustrating. High order volume caused a short-term backlog. As we say internally, that’s context, not an excuse. What matters is how we fix it. Here’s what I’ve already approved for your order: • Full refund on the original order • A free full bundle already in transit, at our cost • Priority handling so this is resolved quickly and cleanly • Direct access to our Head of Customer Support if anything else is needed We don’t hide behind marketing claims. When something breaks, we own it and overcorrect. That’s how real companies are built. Once everything is fully resolved on your end, I believe the outcome will speak for itself. We are making this right, Arthur

I ordered the Turbo Jet DB 2.0 on November 25, 2025 and as of today (December 12, 2025) it still has not arrived. After weeks of round and round with Vortexhaus and messages from customer service that "your order is fine it is coming," and "be patient, USPS is swamped this time of year." I get this response today from USPS which is a bit chilling. "The package associated with this tracking number was found to bear counterfeit postage and is now considered Postal Service property under USPS regulations and will not be delivered. You are encouraged to contact the sender" I mean - really?? That is a first for me. Paid money, waited patiently, product confiscated by USPS for counterfeit postage. Thanks Vortex Haus!

Hi Chris, Arthur here. Founder of VortexHaus. You’re right to be upset. This situation is not acceptable, and I’m genuinely sorry for the frustration this caused. From what I can see, it’s possible that the unit may have already been delivered, but I don’t want to make assumptions or leave anything unresolved. To be sure we handle this correctly, please reach out to our customer support team at [email protected] and reference this review so we can locate your order immediately and confirm the exact status. Regardless, here is what I’ve already approved as an apology for this experience: • A free full bundle at our cost • Priority handling so this is resolved quickly and cleanly • If anything is missing or incorrect, we will fix it without back and forth Growth periods are challenging, but that responsibility is ours, not yours. Feedback like yours helps us tighten systems and improve, and we take it seriously. Thank you for your patience. We will make this right, and we will do better. Arthur
