Customer service has become very hard to come by. Obnoxious change to tenant ach fees shows the arrogant nature of this company. Their "vote" method of improving things sucks, especially when you just need something done.

The system works very well, and the team works on upgrades that are suggested by the actual users. For commercial properties there are still some things that could be better, but we were told at the conference this year that commercial would be a focus in 2024. Hope so!!

From a landlord perspective I hate AppFolio. I've had multiple property managers using this software and they are unable to provide useful statements when God forbid someone pays rent early. Prepaid rents seem to be a huge problem for the property managers using AppFolio. My experience is only from a landlord perspective.

Customer service and support we should have an option for "negative star" They need to reevaluate their hired service help, and support help, better train your people and better motivate your support/service team. otherwise, i dont care how big you are , the fall is harder and faster.

It is not geared for retail/office commercial property, the tenant portal asks tenants if the problem is in the kitchen, living room, bathroom and so on.

We have been using AppFolio for 5 years. AppFolio saves us a lot of time. We find everything we need in one place. Customer Service is so responsive. We could not have asked for more.

We’ve been with Appfolio since 2014 and they aren’t keeping up with the time. Unless you’re a huge company but then they charge extra. ACH from owners & tenants used to be free but now it’s either $2.49 to the owner/tenant or $1 flat rate to the PM on our subscription. We went from paying $2/unit/mo to now over $5. When is the nickel and dime charge and rate hikes going to stop. We’re now evaluating other PMS which have open APIs and part of their based flat rate pricing model. Seriously look elsewhere like rentvine, buildium or another PMS.
