The Black Spectacles program was something I decided to trust after attempting to study via books for several months. I decided to try this program after seeing their membership discount during their Black Friday/Cyber Monday special and I am so glad I signed up! The program had video lecture content that was easy to follow and provided me a calendar of suggested study materials for each day leading up to my exam day. I also appreciated that I could study the various study materials anywhere and on various devices! I contribute much of my success in passing my AREs to the practice exams and quizzes. The simulation really prepared me for the interface found at the testing site and made me feel much more confident in my ability to navigate the exam and its various tools. The customer service reps are also very responsive and were super helpful when I identified issues with the practice exam and were exceptional when helping me with my membership inquiries. I have recommended this program to a number of my colleagues. Thank you, Black Spectacles, this was certainly a game-changer for my career.

The test questions are difficult which is great and are in the same NCARB flavor. At times it looks like the software would slow down but other than it was worth getting the subscription. I like the fact I pass CE and I was able to transfer over my membership to PjM. All and all great product and would use it again for PcM

I purchased the expert subscription because I needed as much support as I could find. To my avail, the video material was reaffirming and the virtual workshops served as good check-in communities to confirm thought strategies in weak subjects. Through a confluence of different factors I am happy to report that I passed and I am so appreciative of the invaluable quality product Black Spectacles offers. For those seeking an alternative modern approach to studying through audio visual and group-think methods, I highly recommend Black Spectacles in supplement to other traditional methods- it was a game changer! There isn’t another test simulation similar to the actual exam out there. I highly recommend this product.

I only used the practice exams and quizzes so my review is only based on that experience. Definitely a help for me personally as my studies were based on taking as many practice quizzes and tests. Would recommend for that aspect only.

The ARE is overwhelming. Black Spectacles helped focus my studies with quality practice exams and quizzes. Each question has answer explanations and study material suggestions that I found valuable in my success.

The videos and practice exams were invaluable, I would never have passed without them!

Blackspectacles study material/resources was extremely helpful on my journey to passing the ARE's and I will be recommending them to friends currently testing.

Not very happy at the moment... passed my first exam on the first try before I even heard of black spectacles, signed up for my second one, and failed that exam 3 times. I like the videos, but it’s not working for me. Tons of money and back to where I was before signing up, minus some money.
