Scam!!! Stole 100$ from me, saying I booked a sitter. The sitter they said I booked did not even have a pic or bio. Refused to refund my money. I am sure this has happened to many, so stay away!!!!

Zojuist ingeschreven maar na betaling toch gekeken om dit in te trekken. Helaas kom je dan in een niet bestaande site terecht waardoor je verder geen kant op kan gaan. Als het me niet lukt om mijn geld terug te laten storten ga ik actie ondernemen. Wat een oplichters!!!

I downloaded the Care.com app, they immediately charged my bank account $19.99 plus another $4.99. There is no way to speak with anyone except chat and no one is responding to me. When I try to apply for a position it is trying to charge me another $19.99. There is no 1-800 number. I don't believe the jobs are legit. They just bill you!

SCAM SCAM SCAM Having thought my sister-in-law had used this website before to find nanny work, I thought I would too. Now I regret that. I tried to make an account today through their app. I went through all the steps and got to the part where I needed to accept to pay for the background check. I put in all my card information and it went through, it proceeded to ask for my SSN. As soon as I clicked the "next" button from the SSN page it sent me an error message and kicked me out of the app. I then proceeded to try to re-sign into my account but it says my account doesn't exist and my email isn't on record, which can't be true because they keep sending me job listing emails from their company. Anyways, I looked at my banking transactions it says I have a pending charge for the background check. And yet, I don't have an account? And their site doesn't recognize my email anymore?? Something is clearly wrong. I have tried emailing 2 of their "help" emails. Both times i got an auto reply saying that email wasnt monitored. I also called their phone number and just take a guess what happened?? It went through its automated "we are here to help you at Care.com" and then as soon as that is over, when you think they are going to send you speak to a real person they hang up. Yep. Anyways the automated message and auto emails both send you to their websites helpcenter (a bunch of pre-writted FAQs). Yet, there is a button in the corner that's claims "chat with help now" and of course what does the website tell you when you click that button??? That help is only for members! Well, I be darned. Isnt it funny they dont recognize my email ad a member? Well, looking at my bank charge I'm clearly a member. Yet up until I put my card number in, the website recognized my email and account. But now that I paid for a *yearly* background check, they have no record of my account or email. SURE. Calling my bank as we speak, hopefully I can salvage this another way. Just don't DONT GO on Care.com. HUGE SCAM

I am a carer and was on the premium one month they stole another month I have emailed, twittered and messaged nothing. Disgusted and will be reporting them to the CQC and bank. Funny how you reply to trust pilot but not to email, twitter of Facebook messenger!!!

I suffer cross-referencing from a competitor guy and he reported me on care.com with serious lies. Care.com did not contact me and canceled my account where I had very good reviews. This false report harmed my business directly and when I contact care.com I don't get any response and besides not having a phone that could be calling and legally proving what I'm talking about. Im very disappointed with this 😕

My experience with Care.com was terrible. A caregiver (Brianna) in Birmingham had responded to my request for someone to pick me up, drive me to UAB Eye Hospital for surgery, wait during the surgery, and then drive me back after the surgery. However Brianna never came, without any notification to me. I was left without transportation. After I finally arranged for alternative transportation, I was 1.5 hours late arriving. Lesson to self: Never depend on Care.com service!

Do not use this site. I, like others I now realise, paid a month's subscription and found that I was charged for two subsequent months, which I was completely unaware of. I have just - I think - cancelled it but it was quite hard to find. Added to this I used the site to find a cleaner for my parent's house in rural Ireland that had lain empty during Covid. I hired a cleaner who talked up the price and assured me I would arrive to sparkling windows etc. She didn't even wash the floor or kitchen worktops – how it could have been classed as even a basic clean is beyond me. I didn't want an argument so I paid her but it felt like protection money. To then discover I have paid an extra two months' money - £60 is like adding insult to injury. I shall be taking this up with my bank to see if I can recover the money as the company is clearly not operating in a transparent way.
