Waste of time. They expect you to pay to read replies from carers (who in all likelihood are just bots). What kind of service expects you to 'upgrade' just to read a message? This site preys on people who need carers and should be avoided.

Ik kan wel janken. Zonder goed te lezen ingeschreven omdat ik met spoed een nieuwe schoonmaakster zocht. Geen schoonmaakster kunnen vinden, de mensen die zich aanbieden reageren nauwelijks. Vervolgens voor gekozen om dus op te zeggen omdat ik in de tussentijd zelf al iemand had gevonden…. Helaas bleek dit onmogelijk. Ik kreeg nog wel een mogelijkheid om het bedrijf voor een kleiner bedrag af te kopen. Dit heb ik gedaan, maar vervolgens werd er alsnog elke maand 35 euro afgeschreven. Bellen kun je niet. En de mailing gaat uiterst traag en alleen in het Engels.

Terrible billing practices. They continue to bill your credit card at 6 month interval even after you have downgraded your membership. They use confusing terms "downgrade" to indicate that you are suspending your membership and then they continue to bill you. You have to find the small print to find out how to permanently close your membership.

This company will automatically renew your subscription on the day it expires. So by the time you cancel the subscription because the charge is showing on your credit card, they will tell you it is non refundable! Horrible customer service. Had to get credit card involved. They claim they send out a reminder about renewal which they DID NOT. Had to get their phone # thru my credit card in order to dispute charge. Emailing them takes 48 hours so again it will be too late and charge will already go through.

Signed up for a premium plan to try to find a caregiver, as they are difficult to find and we needed someone full time. The first person we booked, never showed up so I left a review for the caregiver so other users could be aware. a month later, I was able to find another caregiver, except she also canceled right before she was supposed to start. All others either were already booked or couldn't assist with full time. We made sure we were paying top of the pay scale, the hours were just under 40 hrs and the duties were simple - keep my kid alive!! after 3 months, I tried to cancel my membership and guess what - they wouldn't cancel it!!! Then they claimed it was my "responsibility" when I requested a refund for the final charge and they are refusing so now I'm battling it with my CC company. I ended up finding my own childcare through word of mouth and social media - don't waste your time with this overpriced "service"

I know some people have good luck on this site, but my experience was a nightmare. I created an account, but you can't reach out to the vendors with questions unless you pay! This creates a situation where you can't really decide if a vendor is the right person for you, or even what the real charges are, until you pay. I signed on for the one time only option and looked for a house cleaner. I was looking for one person to come each week for 2-3 hours for ad hoc - not full house - cleaning, and expecting to pay 15-20 an hour. Firstly, I found a few that would fit into my criteria, but most of them did not bother to respond. The one person who did had a surprise three person crew and wanted to charge $300! We agreed to a discounted one-time cleaning, which still cost me more than I make in a day. The service was disappointing, and I would not use CARE,com for anything again. I immediately canceled my account, received an email confirming the cancelation, and I was charged again this month anyway. I had to file a dispute and no doubt it will be time and annoyance to get this resolved. Beware - the fact that it is so difficult to contact them and the 'recurring' charges are BIG red flags. I have proof that I canceled, but they charged me again anyway.

It is a scam! Needed to find a pet sitter. I received an application but was not allowed to view it without upgrading. Seriously? Should have indicated up front if this was the case. Not going to use it ever again!

DO NOT HIRE... BAIT AND SWITCH WITH PRICES ONCE YOU ENROLL. THE PROVIDERS ADVERTISE THEY CHARGE $10/HOUR FOR THE SERVICES, THEN WHEN YOU MESSAGE THEM THEY QUOTE YOU ANOTHER PRICE OR THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE. IF PROVIDERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE THEN WHY ARE THEY SHOWING UP IN MY SEARCH UNDER MY BUDGET??? CLASSIC CASE OF BAIT AND SWITCH AND THEY REFUSED TO RETURN MY MONEY! DISGUSTING AND AWFUL COMPANY! WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN! NOT TO MENTION SABRINA G. (A PROVIDER) WHO TOLD ME TO GET OFF THE APP IF I HAVE ISSUES WITH SECURITY. HOW ABOUT YOU FIND YOURSELF ANOTHER JOB SABRINA, SINCE BEING POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL IS SOMETHING YOU LACK.
