Great information online. Product was delivered quickly and in good shape. Filter box was opened but contents were all there and in fine shape.

Do NOT trust this company! They sent me a quote on a salt generator system for $1499. When I purchased it they charged me $1799!!!! Would not honor the price they quoted despite it being “quote good for 90 days”. This is illegal and I am reporting them to the Attorney General, Better business bureau, senator and representative. REPLY to discountsaltpools Let me be clear that this is not about cost! This is about illegal price gouging! I bought the same unit on Amazon immediately after I got off the phone for $1849. So I paid more and with cash! I would rather pay double than deal with these shady people. They refused to allow me to speak to a manager and “Nathan” refused to identify his role in the company. I have it all recorded. Check my profile picture. That is the copy of the quote good for 90 days which they refused to honor 19 days into the quote.

Kristen, I'm so sorry that prices went up since you began looking earlier in the spring. The US is going through a chlorine shortage and that is causing unprecedented cost increases and lack of availability to vendors across the pool industry. We try hard to keep the prices as low as possible for our customers, but prices are subject to change at any time without notice. "Discount" is in our name, so we truly want to provide the lowest prices possible, and we absolutely respect that your experience was less than ideal due to the situation we're all going through. We hope you can find something at the price point your were looking for, even if that's elsewhere.

The installation was as easy as they said it would be. We followed the instructions and the pool is up and running. We made sure all the chemicals were where they should be before we engaged the cell. Very excited to have this done. It has been on my list of desires for a while

I purchased a salt system several years ago. This year when we opened up, the pool started out great but then turned green and cloudy. It really looked bad. I got a water test done and I had plenty of salt but no chlorine. That’s bad! Did some research and it looked like it was time to replace the salt cell. That’s pretty expensive. I called Discount Salt Pool hoping for a repeat customer discount, and I got so much more. The salesman, rather than just selling me a new $650 cell, started immediately talking about chemistry. He felt that my problem was not the cell, but a chemistry problem. He encouraged me NOT to buy a new cell, but to make some chemical changes and have the water retested. So we did. And just three days later, my pool is nearly perfect. I was just so impressed with a sales person who was more interested in solving my problem rather than just selling me a new salt cell. I can say for sure that when it is time to replace the cell, I won’t look anywhere else! It’s rare to find an honest company who really cares about their customers needs! Thank you! I will gladly recommend you to all my friends!

Received & all set up with minimal adjustments. More expensive than other ones I looked at & they add shipping which Amazon doesn’t charge but reviews were good so keeping fingers crossed it does the job
