Explorer Ventures Liveaboard Diving FleetReviews of explorerventures.com

Gabriele and Maria did an outstanding job on our week! I REALLY liked the fact that they ran 4 dives a day - that's what I usually do on a liveaboard but it seems most ships in the Maldives do less. They were very attentive on picking dive sites that matched the conditions that day. The rest of the crew worked hard and made sure we had as good a week as possible. The food was fantastic! The ship is less than 2 years old and very spacious. Highly recommend.

A great experience. The crew were incredible and went out of their way to provide a safe and enjoyable dive trip. The itinerary showed us the best of Galapagos, both on land and below the sea. From whale sharks to penguins to giant tortoises and blue footed boobies, with everything in between! The boat is very comfortable with the only minor criticism that, for a photo group like ours, an additional camera table would be appreciated.

Outstanding trip! Beautiful boat, fantastic diving, great crew and food. Highly recommended!

An amazing trip overall, start to finish! The Tiburon Explorer and crew were fantastic and the diving was some of the best I've ever experienced.

The guides were excellent. The whole staff really went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful. Food was good. The rooms were nice and clean, and we never lacked for clean towels. There are plenty of options to see the Galapagos, but I would not hesitate to go back on the Humboldt Explorer!

Staff was excellent, knowledgable helpful and made the diving fun and the sites quite interesting. Especially Jo. She also help me over a fear of the night dive I took so I cannot say enough about her sill and calm. Loved the accessibility to the captain and his participation. Great Captain. Food was quite good. Appreciated that access to better than average liquor. The boat was adequate but a little tired in places. However, just coming out of Covid hibernation I would not expect everything to be tip top. It was a really fun week on the Explorer with a great staff that overcame a rough start with bad weather! Lots of great diving.

I have traveled with Explorer Ventures 4 times now and it is always an incredible trip. This most recent trip on the Caribbean Explorer was again a spectacular trip. The crew can really make or break a Liveaboard trip and Explorer seems to always have an exceptional staff. It is always nice to have a friendly and engaging crew who clearly enjoy what they do. I have taken many liveaboards and this was the first time that I have ever seen the captain get in the water and dive. Capt Bob was a joy to be around and made everyone feel welcome and safe while traveling. The food was also some of the better food that I have had on a boat and the fresh bread was a wonderful touch. I look forward to another trip with Explorer Ventures.

The staff of the Humboldt Explorer provided excellent service to our group of 12 divers. They were attentive to our needs and genuinely made us feel at home. The diving was outstanding, food exquisite, and the laughs and experiences with the dive crew priceless! A memorable trip! I highly recommend the Humboldt Explorer for your liveaboard in the Galapagos Islands!
