You can invest in places w higher return if you're a market savvy investor who wants to spend their life looking at a screen & shuffling stuff around but i chose these guys w high marks for integrity doing something unique w my money in real assets and decent roi plus an op to buy into the company once you've gotten on board as an investor.

Investing in real estate can be daunting and an expensive learning experience. Most people don’t want to look for contractors and property managers to hire while researching the right asset to buy in the right location. Some people just want to mitigate risk and diversify their portfolio with real estate assets. Fundrise is a great way to invest in real estate passively and cost effectively without being an expert. The platform is easy to use, even for the inexperienced investor. The company is very transparent with its investing and strategies, keeping you in the know unlike normal REIT’s.

Fundrise is the most transparent and informative REIT based investment you will ever make. They are dedicated to their investors, very responsive and provide their investors with regular investor updates and investment justifications, as if we the individual investors were members of the board. It is very inclusive and every educational. Their market research conducted before every property purchase is very comprehensive.
