I bought a pair of "lab diamond" dangling earrings in 14K white gold a few years ago and the earrings didn't hang right. The design and weighting were very off, so the earrings always tilted forward and looked unattractive. I contacted the owner about this problem, and he never offered to take them back for repairs--instead, he only made excuses. Fast forward to this morning, on 11/5/2025 when I had National Rarities, a well-reputed estate buying business, test the gems in the earrings and, turns out, they are moissanites. Now I have nothing against moissanites, but that isn't what they were advertised to be. It isn't enough for me to avoid doing business with them-- I felt compelled to write this review and warn others with my cautionary tale. Updated on 11/19/2025 to add: The reply from Ouros below is just laughable. I DID contact them right away about the poor construction of the earrings. But the testing of the stones was only done recently as I was attempting to sell them (since National Rarities buys gold, among other valuables). These earrings contain moissanites, NOT lab diamonds. Ouros Jewels conned me and I'm sure other customers, too.

We take your concern very seriously. First, we want to assure you that the stones used in your earrings are 100% lab-grown diamonds, exactly as advertised at the time of purchase. To avoid any confusion, We have attached the diamond testing video as proof of authenticity. Here is the video link: -https://streamable.com/klnc01 We did receive your earlier message about the earrings tilting, but there was no concern raised about the stones at that time. Sometimes third-party testers can give incorrect results, especially with older devices or when testing through the setting, which may have caused the confusion. Still, we want to help you. As a goodwill gesture, please contact us at [email protected], and we will work with you to provide a suitable solution. We can also offer you an IGI jewelry certificate for your earrings, so you can have official confirmation that they are lab-grown diamonds. Thank you for giving us the chance to clarify this.
