Hi Mel, We're sorry this didn't arrive in time for the birthday. We'd like to look into your specific order—please email our customer support team at [email protected] with your order number. Sending mail to correctional facilities works differently than standard mail. Even with Premium shipping, the process includes: 1-2 days to print and ship from our facility, 3-5 days in transit, and then 3-5 additional days (sometimes longer) for facility mailroom inspection once it arrives. Every piece of mail must be manually inspected by facility staff before it's delivered, and those inspection times vary based on staffing levels, facility size, and mail volume. Right now during the holidays, facility mailrooms are handling significantly higher volumes, which extends those inspection times beyond what we can control. We know this adds up to longer than you'd expect compared to regular mail, and we wish the process was faster. Please reach out to our support team so we can help get you more information.
