My company has a main office in Virginia and a satellite assembly office in NC. When I ordered the JBC soldering tips online, they let me enter both a ship-to address and a billing address, and these could be different. But after I placed my order, I received an email indication that the billing and ship-to addresses had to be the same. This was a major inconvenience in that I had to have the items shipped to the billing address, then I had to have them shipped again to NC - I had to pay for shipping twice! I can understand the reasons due to fraud, but then do not ask for different shipping and billing addresses when ordering. Second, I had to chase down the status of my order, there was no indication if it had been shipped or not, after 2 weeks I still had no feedback until I asked for it. Most companies alert the customer if there will be a delay in order processing, not just say nothing at all (certainly had no problem letting me know about the ship-to address, but didnt give an order status).
