Replacement Lens ExpressReviews of replacementlensexpress.com

I have had lens made by RLE on 2 occasions. I was a little nervous about ordering lens on line and the first time there was some incorrect info given to RLE and the lens had to be redone. RLE remade and sent the correct lens at no extra charge. Both sets of lenses were perfect. I highly recommend RLE.

I ordered frames and received a notification that the order was accepted and the money was taken from my card. After three days, I checked the status of my order and saw that my order was canceled the same day as the order was received. Of course, the money was taken from the card. I sent an email asking what's going on? The next day I received a message: “Unfortunately the frame is all out of stock and no longer available. A refund has been requested for you. “ I contacted twice more with the question when they would refund me and each time I received the answer that "We will remind the refund department for you". After three weeks there is no refund of my money. I start a Visa dispute with my bank. Frames that are "out of stock and no longer available" are still available on the site (i.e. they know that these frames are "out of stock and no longer available" , but they still want to sell them). In my opinion, this is one of the worse companies focused on cheating people.

Wish I'd read all the bad reviews before ordering. Nowhere in the lens ordering process did I read where to send my frames. Nowhere did I see what my order number was. What a way to conduct business. I guess I'm supposed to figure out where to mail my frames on my own.

26/08/2019 - Ordered a pair of sunglasses and have received a notification that they had indeed taken the money from me. However, a week later, I noticed no contact from them whatsoever. Eventually I sent an email to check my status and was replied literally 4 minutes later that the sunglasses I ordered is out of stock and they would refund me. If I didn't contact them, would they just kept my money? Why couldn't they told me earlier that it was out of stock but instead they decided to take my money and kept quiet. Unprofessional and very sleazy. Update: 30/08/2019 - I contacted them asking why the frames I was interested in buying is still considered available. They replied that the site is updating slowly. Welp, it's been a few days now and the frames are still listed available instead of out of stock. Buyers beware, make sure you contact them ahead of time or find better sellers. They will definitely take your money without contacting you first.

I was waiting for my order a week and did not get any updates at all! Decided to follow up on the status of my order and been informed that my glasses are out of stock...."Nice" customer service and "nice" website management. Still waiting for the info about the exact day of my refund. This is completely unacceptable!

I sent in old frame with a new prescription to evaluate RLE's house lenses, which cost much less than the national brands. After 7 days, I received someone else's frames in return. I emailed RLE and they were very apologetic, asking me to return the incorrect frames. Fortunately my frames were in the lab. The company gave me a 20% discount for my troubles. When I received my correct order, I was very pleased with the quality of the lenses. Granted, my prescription isn't very extreme, but the progressive, transition lenses from RLE are every bit as good as the Varilux lenses I had been getting from my optometrist. I was satisfied that I could now send my Warby Parker frames to have their lenses updated. These returned without a glitch, and I am also very happy with the results. Two usable sets of glasses for slightly more than the price I had been paying for one.

I recently had a pair of Chemistrie magnetic sunglass clips made for an older eyeglass frame which is no longer made. Throughout the process of contacting RLE I found their people very friendly & professional in helping me. Upon receiving my eyeglass frames and new Chemistrie sunglass clip on I can say they are perfect in every way. I could not be more satisfied with the results. I highly recommend their services. I’ve used RLE for several years. They’ve made at least 8 pairs of frames for me. Their work is excellent.
