The process for a 1st time user was pretty good. My lender, Dan Sole, was very helpful. It closed on time and my clients are very happy.

My clients were VA financing and could not get an offer accepted. Once they signed up with Ribbon, they went under contract and it was a very easy process. Everyone at Ribbon is very friendly and helpful. The home closed on time and everything that was promised from Ribbon happened. I will recommend them to future clients trying to finance a home.

We first learned about Ribbon Home when their buyer made offer on our home. The appeal of all cash combined with Ribbon’s guarantee to buy our home at same terms if buyer backed out gave us peace of mind. On closing day the buyer held up closing and seemed to us they were trying to stop the sale altogether. Ribbon followed through and purchased our home. We feel without Ribbon we wouldn’t have sold our home. We also used Ribbon to buy our new home. It was completely worth the 1% fee! If we didn’t have the Ribbon cash offer to present we wouldn’t have won our bid. Ribbon is an amazing asset to sellers and buyers. They’re ethical and stand by their guarantee. We are grateful to have used them during our entire home buying and selling process!

Ribbon offers a valuable service, with poor follow through when buying back the home. We wanted to close very quickly after they purchased the home, like the next week. They delayed and delayed getting the contract to us, so our closing was delayed for weeks. Then they force you to close with their notary, only on a Tuesday or Thursday. If you are not on a tight time line, Ribbon may be for you, but if you want to move quickly, look to use a different buying service.
